Demi Lovato Announces HOLY FVCK Album and Tour

13th June 2022 | Category: Concerts

Demi Lovato has announced a new album called HOLY FVCK and a fall tour of the same name. The record is coming out on August 19th via Island Records. What’s more, the singer has also released the first single from the album, “Skin of My Teeth.”

At 16 tracks, HOLY FVCK is a return to Lovato’s rock and pop-punk roots — something the album’s ominous artwork, shown below, depicts well. Lovato spoke about recording their eighth studio album in a statement.

“The process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet, and I’m grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me,” Lovato said. “Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself. To my Lovatics who have been rocking out with me since the beginning and those who are just now coming along for the ride, thank you. This record is for you.”

In conjunction with the album, Lovato has mapped out a 32-date HOLY FVCK fall tour that will take the artist across South America and the United States. Beginning August 30th in São Paulo, Brazil, the trek runs through November, wrapping up on November 6th in Irving, Texas. Dead Sara and Royal & The Serpent lend support on select dates.

“I’m so excited to get back on the road after four years without touring, and even longer since I’ve toured in South America,” Lovato said in a statement.

“We’re working so hard to deliver an incredible show for all my fans and I can’t wait to see them in person to celebrate this new music.”

Lovato last released Dancing with the Devil…The Art of Starting Over in 2021.

Carly Rae Jepsen Announces ‘The So Nice Tour’ for Fall 2022

9th June 2022 | Category: Concerts

Carly Rae Jepsen has announced “The So Nice Tour,” which is her first North American tour since 2019. The 24-date trek will feature support from Empress Of.

Kicking off after a pair of co-headlining dates with Bleachers (September 21st in Cleveland and 22nd in Toronto), “The So Nice Tour” will officially launch on September 24th in Montreal. From there, CRJ will hit up iconic venues like New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, Knoxville’s Tennessee Theatre, Denver’s Mission Ballroom, Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, Portland’s Roseland Theater, and Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom.

News of “The So Nice Tour” comes a month after Jepsen returned with her first new music in two years: “Western Wild.”

Co-written by Jepsen and Batmanglij, “Western Wind” continues a collaboration the two musicians first kicked off with E*MO*TION. A major creative milestone for Jepsen, E*MO*TION inspired in-depth analysis from cultural critics and landed on multiple year-end “best of” lists. Released in 2019, her follow-up album Dedicated covered even more musical and emotional ground. Working with a crew of trusted songwriters and producers (among them John Hill, Jack Antonoff, Captain Cuts, Patrik Berger, and her longtime collaborator Tavish Crowe), Jepsen indulged in more sonic experimentation than she had in the past. She returned the following May with a gift for her fans: Dedicated Side B, a buoyant set of dance-floor tunes that affirmed her status as pop’s undefeatable ambassador of love.

A press release promises “much more to come from Carly Rae Jepsen in 2022,” so fans might want to start anticipating that Dedicated follow-up.

Panic! At the Disco has announced a new album called Viva Las Vengeance, which will be supported by a 40-date worldwide arena tour. As a preview, Brendon Urie has shared the album’s title track, which doubles as its lead single.

Due out on August 19th, Viva Las Vengeance marks P!ATD’s seventh album to date and follows 2018’s Pray for the Wicked. This time around, Urie cut everything live to tape in Los Angeles alongside his friends and production partners, Jake Sinclair and Mike Viola.

“Viva Las Vengeance is a look back at who I was 17 years ago and who I am now with the fondness I didn’t have before,” Urie explained in a statement. “I didn’t realize I was making an album and there was something about the tape machine that kept me honest.”

To support the release, Urie will head out on “The Viva Las Vengeance Tour” starting in September. The extensive outing begins in North America with a run of arena shows running through the end of October, with MARINA and Beach Bunny taking turns as the opening act. A UK/European leg follows in early 2023.

With each ticket sold across both legs, one dollar will be donated to P!ATD’s Highest Hopes Foundation, a fund that supports organizations that advocate support for human rights for all people and communities subject to discrimination or abuse on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Announce 2023 World Tour

25th May 2022 | Category: Concerts

Bruce Springsteen will hit the road joined by the full E Street Band for the first time since 2017 on a 2023 world tour.

The Boss will reunite with Gary Tallent, Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, Steven Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa and more with North American arena dates in February. He’ll head to stadiums in Europe from late April and then back to the States in August.

At this time, only European dates have been revealed with details for North American, UK and Belgium dates yet to be revealed. The European tour will include shows in Spain, Ireland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Austria.

“After six years, I’m looking forward to seeing our great and loyal fans next year,” Springsteen said in a statement. “And I’m looking forward to once again sharing the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there, next year – and beyond!”

Springsteen has kept plenty busy since last touring with the E Street Band. He held a concert residency at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York in 2017 and 2018 titled Springsteen on Broadway. That was turned into a Netflix special, released as a soundtrack album and returned for a run at the St. James Theatre in the mid-half of 2021.

He also released two new solo albums – 2019’s Western Stars and Letter To You the following year. Both of those were also accompanied by films. In November last year, Springsteen’s Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts alongside the E Street Band were released as a concert film and live album.
