Fans will be able to witness the Billy Idol Las Vegas residency and hear the legendary New Wave musician perform all of his greatest hits. The singer will be performing music from across this storied career, from his early days fronting Generation X, to his days topping the charts with classics such as “Rebel Yell, “White Wedding”, and “Dancing with Myself”. It promises to be one of the most acclaimed rock shows on the Strip!

For forty-five years, Billy Idol has been one of the faces and voices of rock’n’roll, with an artistic resume that matches the brilliant light of the image. Fans have been following his career from his early days as the frontman for Generation X. Between 1977 and 1981 Billy emerged with three albums that truly reshaped the world of punk rock. In 1982, Billy embarked on a solo career that integrated clubland throb, wide-screen depth and drama, and rockabilly desperation. He truly became the synonym for rock’n’roll decadence combining bold and simple lines of punk.

Lady Gaga is returning for another run of her ‘Jazz & Piano’ residency in Las Vegas.

The ‘Chromatica’ singer will return to Sin City this spring for nine live concerts at the Park MGM hotel and casino. It comes after she performed a string of shows at the venue last October.

Gaga’s forthcoming stint is due to begin on April 14 and will run until May 1. 

According to a press release, Gaga’s 2022 ‘Jazz & Piano’ residency will see the star “celebrate her love of the Great American Songbook” while also showcasing her recent collaborative album with Tony Bennett, Love For Sale.

Gaga kicked off her ‘Jazz & Piano’ residency in January 2019, shortly after she began her simultaneous ‘Enigma’ run in December 2018. The pop star consistently performed both residencies throughout 2019, with some of her planned 2020 dates being cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.

In December, she accompanied Tony Bennett for the MTV Unplugged special for Love for Sale, one of his final performances before officially retiring due to his battle with Alzheimer’s. Gaga and Tony Bennett’s joint record Love For Sale is up for Album Of The Year at the Grammy Awards 2022. The pair’s track ‘I Get A Kick Out of You’ is in the running for Record Of The Year as well as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Gaga recently portrayed Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of hiring a hitman to murder her ex-husband and former head of the Gucci fashion house Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver), in Ridley Scott’s biographical crime film titled House of Gucci. While the film received mixed reviews, critics praised Gaga’s performance as “note-perfect”. She earned nominations for the BAFTA Award, Critics’ Choice Award, Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress.

Last summer, she released Dawn of Chromatica: The Remix Album and a 10th-anniversary deluxe edition of Born This Way.

Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano Residency Dates

KISS will kick off their long-rumored second Las Vegas residency at the end of the year.

The news of the band’s return to Las Vegas was broken by bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons during an interview at Animazing Gallery at The Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes, previewing his “ArtWorks” collection of paintings and sketches.

Asked if KISS will be coming back for a second Las Vegas residency, Simmons said: 

“We are. My favorite band are gonna be at Zappos [Theater at Planet Hollywood] in Las Vegas starting December 27. That’s right, even through New Year’s. And we’ll be here through February. But in the middle of the KISS tour that’s going around the world.”

The legendary rockers previously performed in Sin City in November 2014 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel And Casino. 

Speaking to Las Vegas Weekly, KISS frontman Paul Stanley stated about how the idea for the residency came about: 

“To spend as much time as we do in Vegas and to live as close as we do, the idea of doing a residency and leaving our stage setup, as opposed to breaking it down nightly, was really appealing.”

He continued: 

“We [had] just finished 42 cities and played for 600,000 people, but that meant that every night the show got disassembled and moved. There’s something appealing and challenging about building a set that doesn’t have to be moved. You don’t have to take into account the practicality of it, being able to be broken down constantly and reassembled. So this was something that we had wanted to do for quite a while; it was just a matter of making sure we found people who were in agreement on how to do it. The Joint was the natural place to do it.”

KISS are currently on the ‘End Of The Road’ farewell tour, which was originally scheduled to conclude on July 17, 2021 in New York City, but is now expected to last well into 2022.

Aerosmith have rescheduled their upcoming UK and European tour dates to 2022 due to COVID-19.

The legendary band had been hoping to tour in June of this year after their initial 2020 live plans were scrapped due to the worldwide health crisis.

Aerosmith’s forthcoming live dates in the UK and Europe have been pushed back for a second time, with the band now set to complete a series of shows in June and July 2022.

“Due to current conditions and for the safety of our fans, the 2021 European Tour has been rescheduled to 2022,” the band said in an official statement. “Please stay tuned for more information regarding the new dates or contact your point of purchase. All tickets will be valid for new dates.”

The rescheduled jaunt includes three UK dates in London, Manchester and Sheffield – details of which you can see here:

June 28 – Manchester Arena, Manchester

July 1 – FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield

The upcoming run follows their ‘Deuces Are Wild’ Las Vegas residency.

The ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ rockers last played this side of the pond in 2017, when they headlined Download Festival, in what was then-assumed to be their last-ever UK show.

Meanwhile, guitarist Joe Perry previously said he’d like to record a new album with Aerosmith “when the time is right”.

The 70-year-old musician said he was feeling inspired to make new music with the group – also including Joey Kramer, Brad Whitford, and Tom Hamilton – after his time in the studio with his Hollywood Vampires’ bandmates Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp working on their 2019 LP ‘Rise’.

He said at the time: “I had just finished working on my last solo album [before the new Hollywood Vampires album], so I had been in the studio for the three or four months before we started on the Vampires record.

“So I was already rolling in the studio. It doesn’t take much to get me going — I love to record. So, when the time is right, Aerosmith will come around to do another record.”

Aerosmith’s last studio album was 2012’s ‘Music from Another Dimension!’.
