The UEFA Champions League is an international club football competition that is run and organised by the Union of European Football Associations. It is organised annually and allows for UEFA Member countries to participate, with 32 teams determined by nation and the UEFA Coefficients of the member associations. Only a certain number of teams may enter and based on the coefficient, more teams from a particular country may be eligible for the group stage of 32 as opposed to other countries.
