The Denver Broncos Did It Again

12th February 2016 | Category: Sports

For the 2nd game in a row, even after the Denver Broncos were written off as the underdogs even before the big game began, Gary Kubiak’s the coach of the Denver Broncos went head to head against a team of destiny the Carolina Panthers and they came out on top.

It was not implausible that the Denver Broncos could prevail in the Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers, but to win as they did with a score of 24 – 10, that was nearly unforeseeable.  Out of the 74 ESPN football contributors who made their Super Bowl 50 picks, only 19 of these contributors picked the Denver Broncos, which is only 25.7 percent of the contributors.  Trey Wingo was the football contributor who said that the Denver Broncos were going to win by more than a touchdown over the Carolina Panthers.  As the Vegas prop on the Denver Broncos winning by more than 10.5 point had a line of +600.  If you were to remove the implied odds from the line this would have suggested that the bookmakers saw the Denver Broncos with a 13.7 percent chance of winning by more than eleven points.

And even after these type of odds that is just what the Denver Broncos pulled off.  It definitely was not the prettiest Super Bowl that was ever seen, but it did include some brilliant performances from the league’s two best defenses.  Even if grouping them together just may sell the Denver Broncos short.  Advance metrics suggest that the Denver Broncos were the best defense team in football by a very comfortable margin.  During Super Bowl Sunday the Denver Broncos showed up and they delivered an awesome defensive performance as dominant as the one that they laid on the Seahawks two years prior.

Make sure you know where to go when Super Bowl 51 comes up, and you need the best seats in the house! Speak with us here at Ticket Center to find those dream bowl tickets and watch the action unfold with the next two lucky teams that make it!

The Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers Advance to the Super Bowl 50

29th January 2016 | Category: Sports

The Denver Broncos advance to the Super Bowl 50 with a 20-18 win against the New England Patriots in Denver.

The Denver Broncos led the game throughout the afternoon, but it was still a nail biter at the end.  As a late comeback was attempted by New England feel short.  The New England Patriots scored with just 12 seconds remaining, but fell short when it came to the 2 point conversion that would have forced the game into overtime. Despite the rotten first half that was played by the New England Patriots quarterback, Brady recovered during the second half of the game as he tried to force the game into overtime.  But this is as close as they could get. The Denver Broncos cornerback Bradley Roby picked off Brady’s pass on his two point conversion attempt as Denver than recovered New England’s onside kick in order to steal the winning game.

The Carolina Panthers, who beat the Arizona Cardinals with a 49-15 win in Charlotte, will be meeting the Denver Broncos on the field for the Super Bowl 50.

The Carolina Panthers dominated the game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.  Sunday’s game marked the first time in NFL playoff history that two of the Heisman Trophy winning quarterbacks started against each other during a game.  The Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton won the Heisman trophy in the year of 2010 as the Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer won his Heisman Trophy in the year of 2002.

The Denver Broncos will be facing the Carolina Panthers in the Super Bowl 50 that will be played on February 7th 2016, in California State at the Levi’s Stadium located in Santa Clara, Tickets can be purchased from Ticket Center.

Syracuse vs. North Carolina Making it Big

15th January 2016 | Category: Sports

The Syracuse Orangemen Basketball Team dropped their 3rd straight game with an overtime loss to Clemson.
The last game the Syracuse University Basketball Team played against Clemson in an overtime game on Tuesday night January 5th 74-73.  Clemson exploited Syracuse’s 2-3 zone in order to find open areas inside.  Do not draw any conclusions about Mike Hopkins’ record of 4-5 with the Syracuse basketball team just yet.   The plan was to foul Clemson.
The Syracuse Orangeman basketball team had the chance for a comeback win within their grasp, but just could not hold on to it in regulation. Even when Syracuse had the chance at an even more improbable win in overtime, they just could not get the shot that they needed.
The Syracuse Basket Ball team has fallen to 10-6 on the season and 0-3 in the ACC.  The last time the Syracuse Orangemen Basketball team had started a conference with three straight losses was in the season of 1996-1997.  The Orangemen played in the Big East and lost their first four conference games that season.
Syracuse coach designate Mike Hopkins spoke about how thankful he was for the ultimate chance at being able to fill in for the suspended head coach Jim Boeheim during the post game conference after the game.
Jim Boehiem himself will be returning to the sidelines for this Saturday’s game against North Carolina, as he is coming back from his NCAA suspension.
The game the Orange played against Clemson was the last in line with Jim Boeheim’s nine game suspensions.  The NCAA ultimately suspended Boehiem for nine straight games as part of its sanctions for the rules violations within the SU basketball program.  The NCAA’s first decision was to suspend Jim for the first nine ACC games, upon appeal this ruling was changed so that Boehiem would start his suspension immediately.
Now, that Boehiem is back, find out if the Syracuse Orangemen’s luck will change against North Carolina.
