2010 Lilith Tour
Lilith Fair is more than a tour is a “concert tour and traveling music festival”. The event was founded by Canadian musician Sarah McLachlan, New York talent agent Marty Diamond, and Nettwerk Music Group’s Terry McBride and Dan Fraser. This amazing touring festival is completely made up of female solo artists and female led bands. The first tours took place during the summers of 1997 and 1999 and they are letting their fans know they will be back in 2010.
The production will reach around 36 cities in North America, including Kansas City, Cleveland, and Las Vegas, to name a few. Tickets will go on sale on March 27 for most venues. The first stop will be at the McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on June 27, from there the festival will hit several cities across the US and Canada.
The only act that will be present at each stop will be Sarah McLachlan with the other divas rotating from venue to venue. A few of the divas that will be seen include A Fine Frenzy, Ann Atomic, Ash Koley, Brandi Carlile, Butterfly Boucher, Chairlift, Chantal Kreviazuk, Colbie Caillat, Corinne Bailey Rae, Donna Delor, Emmylou Harris, Erykah Badu, Heart, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Ima, Indigo Girls, Ingrid Michaelson, Janelle Monae, Jennifer Knapp, Jill Hennessy, Jill Scott, Katzenjammer, Ke$ha, Mary J. Blige, Meaghan Smith, Metric, Miranda Lambert, Nneka, Sara Bareilles, Sarah McLachlan, Serena Ryder, Sheryl Crow, Sugarland, Susan Justice, Tara MacLean, Tegan and Sara, Vereda, Vita Chambers, The Submarines, The Weepies, Ximena Sarinana, Loretta Lynn, Zee Avi and many many more.
