311 announces the Summer Unity Tour Dates
311 just announced their fifth consecutive year for the Summer Unity Tour with special guests this year being Pepper and featuring Offspring.
The 2010 schedule has 25 dates so far with two concerts for Alaska, one on June 18 in Fairbanks at the Blue Loon and on June 19 in Anchorage at the Moose’s Tooth Pub. After that the groups is back in the continental United States by June 24 for a stop in Columbus Ohio at the Lifestyles Community Pavilion and the last concert in Chula Vista, California at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre on July 25.
During the four-week tour, 311 will stop in Chicago on June 29 at Charter One Pavilion; in Clarkston Michigan at the DTE Music Theatre on July 7; in Bristow Virginia at the Jiffy Lube Live on July 16; and in Irvine California at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on July 24.
A few venues have tickets available today, while most are waiting until April or May when dates are closer. This tour will follow the spring tour throughout the Asia Pacific region with concerts in Hawaii and Japan.
The Summer Unity Tour in 2009 features Ziggy Marley with special guest The Expendables, the year before Snoop Dogg and Fiction Plane were special guests.
