Arcade Fire Announce Tour Dates For 2014
The Canadian Indie Rock band Arcade Fire have just released their latest album “Reflektor”, and to promote their new album they have also announced their tour dates for their “Reflektor Tour”, a tour that starts in March 2014. The first date of the tour will take place in the state of Kentucky on Thursday 6th March at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, then two days later on Saturday 8th March the band will playing at the Target Center in Minneapolis. March will be a busy month for the band with another seven concerts taking place in the space of just nine days, concerts that will take place in Michigan, Pennsylvania (twice), Toronto, Ottawa, Ohio and Connecticut.
The band will then take a short break before hitting the stage again on Wednesday 9th April at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas, with a concert being held the following day at the Austin360 Amphitheater which is also in the state of Texas. The Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado will host the next concert on Wednesday 23rd April, with a brace of concerts in Missouri on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April to follow. April will conclude with a concert in Ohio, with this particular concert taking place at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus on Tuesday 29th April.
May will get underway with a concert at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on the first of the month, a venue that will be hosting the likes of Kanye West, John Mayer, Jeff Dunham and the Kings of Leon in the coming weeks as well, not to mention a plethora of games involving the NHL Ice Hockey team the Nashville Predators. On Friday 2nd May a concert has been scheduled to take place at Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood, a venue that can be found in Atlanta, Georgia.
Arcade Fire will not perform again until Wednesday 30th July when they will take to the stage at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, then they will head to Seattle to perform at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Friday 8th August. The band will then head to their home country of Canada for three concerts in Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg on Monday 11th, Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th August, with a return to America on Sunday 17th August for a concert at the Verizon Center in Washington DC.
The tour will come to an end with concerts in Massachusetts, New York (twice) and Illinois, with the tour finale taking place on Saturday 30th August at the Parc Jean-Drapaeu in Montreal.
