Billie Eilish Postpones Remainder of 2020 Tour Dates

15th May 2020 | Category: Concerts

Billie Eilish has postponed all of her Where Do We Go? world tour dates. This is due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“Out of an abundance of caution, all dates on Billie’s WHERE DO WE GO? WORLD TOUR have been postponed. All dates are proactively being rescheduled,” reads the announcement on the singer’s official twitter.

“As soon as dates are finalized, Billie will share the updated schedule and all tickets will be honored accordingly. Thank you for understanding. Stay safe, and stay home.”

Where Do We Go? marks Eilish’s third concert tour and is meant to support her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which was released in 2019. The tour kicked off on March 9 in Miami, Florida and was scheduled to come to a close on September 7 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the multi-Grammy winner has been spending her time in isolation being productive, as she revealed in a recent interview that she and her brother Finneas O’Connell have been working on new music.

She said: “We’ve been in the ‘stu,’ which just means Finneas’ basement, basically. We wrote a whole song in its entirety, an entire song, which is kind of rare for us to just write a whole song in one. I really love it. It was exactly what I needed to say when we wrote it. I can’t tell time anymore.”

The teen pop star also talked a bit more about the song and how the quarantine has been for her.

“The song I was talking about earlier that we wrote a couple weeks ago that felt so right was…I wish I could sing it for you, but I can’t,” Eilish said. “It was just about, there was this part in it—I needed to say this—which was I know I’m supposed to feel unhappy right now because of this break and because I’m not seeing anybody.

I feel like there’s this kind of thing that I feel like is floating around of like you’re supposed to be missing people. You’re supposed to be missing this person and be missing people in general. I kind of have this feeling of like, I miss my really close friends, I miss people, of course I do, but I also at the same time am liking the space.”
