Billy Joel Just Of The Star Names Performing At The Barclays Center Brooklyn
When you think of iconic concert and sporting venues in the New York area Madison Square Garden immediately comes to mind, but The Barclays Center on Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn is also an iconic venue as it can host around 19,000 for pop concerts and in the region of 15,000 to 18,000 for sporting events. Here at the Ticket Center we have a vast array of tickets available for The Barclays Center, with literally something taking place everyday between now (Wednesday 6th November) and New Years Eve (Tuesday 31st December).
From the beginning of next week the Disney On Ice: Let’s Celebrate! spectacular will be in town for a whole week with a total of nine shows taking place, the first of which opens up on Tuesday 12th November at 7pm local time, running all the way through until Sunday 17th November when two shows will take place with start times of 11.30am and 3pm local time.
Basketball fans will have plenty of chance to catch the Brooklyn Nets in action before the New Year as they have at least 13 home fixtures scheduled between now and then. During that time some of the biggest teams in the NBA will be in town with visits from the Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons, LA Lakers, Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls to name just a few. As for music events there is plenty of choice in the lead up to the end of the year with Rapper Kanye West appearing twice at The Barclays Center on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th November. Pink will be in town at the beginning of December for two concerts as well, the first of which takes place on Sunday 8th December and the second on Monday 9th December.
On Thursday 19th December Beyonce will be performing the first of two concerts at The Barclays Center, with the second taking place on Sunday 22nd December, with both concerts starting at 8pm local time. Other artists visiting the iconic venue include Pitbull and Prince Royce, John Mayer and Andrea Bocelli. To end the year Billy Joel will be performing at the Barclays Center on New Years Eve where he will be sharing the stage with the alternative rock trio known as Ben Folds Five.
