Bruce Springsteen – Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Exhibit
Bruce Springsteen, performing now across the nation, has had some other good news.. that the Rock and Roll hall of fame will launch a whole new exhibit dedicated solely to him… and they get the best news imaginable..
The Boss is cooperating quite nicely.
Friday, the Hall of Fame announced their plan to open an exhibit that is entitled “From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen” coming up on April 11, just three days before they are going to hold their induction ceremonies in Cleveland Ohio.
We all know Bruce’s music is something special and in fact, this is not only the icing on the cake for both Bruce and the R&R Hall of fame, but up til now hadn’t happened.
With the year that Springsteen has had, and his music more popular now than ever before, it certainly makes sense on many levels.
“He’s someone we’ve always wanted to do a big exhibit on,” said Jim Henke, the Rock and Roll Hall’s curator. “So it’s one of those things that I’d bring up with his manager from time to time. Last summer they said, ‘Yes, it makes sense now.”‘
Let’s face it, its been a Springsteen year and we’re only two months into it.. He performed for al sorts of festivities that took place during the inauguration of President Barack Obama, released his album, “Working on a Dream,” in January, was the best halftime entertainment at the Super Bowl that we’ve sen in recent years and has another major tour to kick off April 1 in California, and rumor has it that he will appear in the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in June.
We’d suggest, with all the popularity that Springsteen is enjoying that you don’t take your time in getting those tickets for the April Springsteen concerts.. Grab them while you’ve got the chance..
