Ciara and 21 Savage to Perform at Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest
Super Bowl weekends are known for plenty of amusing options outside of The Big Game, but this year, Bud Light and the League are taking the experience to a whole new level.
They are teaming up to put on a three-day music festival that is officially a part of the weekend’s NFL festivities. In many ways, the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest/EA Sports Bowl will offer both newcomers and locals the Atlanta-bred halftime show that many fans want and expect from a town that literally raises musical superstars. Don’t miss this new festival and buy your tickets on time.
Two months ago, Location Experiences announced the first ever Bud Light Super Bowl Music Festival and we are all dying of anticipation. Not only will Maroon 5 perform on the halftime of Super Bowl but visitors will enjoy three-day event packed with our favourite artists. The special event will take place over three nights at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena between Thursday, 31 January and Saturday, 2 February ahead of Super Bowl LIII.
Ludacris and Migos will kick off the first-night event on 31 January. Aerosmith and Post Malone will headline the second day on 1 February and the starts of the show on 2 February will be Bruno Mars and Cardi B.
Ludacris strongly believes that artists from Atlanta should headline the official pre-Super Bowl concert since they are home to many talented and successful performers and the organizers proudly announced a few days ago that Ciara and 21 Savage, Atlanta-bred artists, will join the list of performers for the festival.
“We are the Motown of the south and have been really dominant in music for quite some time,” says Ludacris, a Grammy winner who is also gearing up to start filming Fast & Furious 9, due out in 2020.
“In terms of bringing it to Atlanta, people understand all the great talent that’s here. People that are from Atlanta should be involved in this process somehow. It’s one thing for the Super Bowl to not involve any Atlanta artists. It’s another thing for people to see Atlanta artists perform. It’s pretty straightforward and pretty understandable.”
Ciara is ready to show some love to the city that raised her before the big game. “I’m so excited to not only join my friend Ludacris on stage at EA SPORTS BOWL, but I’m ready to represent for my city of Atlanta”. 21 Savage is ready to hit the stage in front of the hometown fans and perform new songs from its latest album “I Am-A Was” that topped the Billboard 200. “Performing at home with my boy Metro Boomin is dope. The lineup at EA SPORTS BOWL is dope. I can’t wait for the fans to see it.”
