Eagles To Soar High With New Summer Tour
The iconic American rock band ‘The Eagles’ are going on tour this coming summer and the news is sure to leave their fans clambering for Eagles concert tickets.
The Eagles were formed in 1971, in Los Angeles, by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. Frey and Henley still remain and the pair will be joined on tour by current band members Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit. During the halcyon days of the 1970’s The Eagles were one of leading musical acts in the world, and during the 1970’s no other American band sold more records than The Eagles.
In total it is believed that The Eagles have sold over 150 million records, with around 100 million being sold in America alone. To date they have recorded seven number one singles and six number one albums and on top of that have won six Grammys and five American Music Awards, all of which make them one of the most popular bands of the last 40 years.
Their up coming tour commences on Saturday 6th July at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky, before heading North to Wisconsin to play at Summerfest in Milwaukee on Sunday 7th July, an event that will be staged at the Marcus Amphitheater. Their next stop will be in the state of Ohio on Tuesday 9th July when they will play at the Quickens Loans Arena in Cleveland.
They will then cross the border into Canada where they will play a further two dates, both of which will be in Ontario. The first will be played at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Thursday 11th July, and the second will be held on Monday 15th July at the Scotiabank Place which is in Ottawa.
The band will then head back to America to play further dates in Philadelphia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pittsburgh and Washington. The tour finale will be in the state of New York on Thursday 25th July when the band will play at the Bethel Woods Center in Bethel.
