Kendrick Lamar Announces European Leg of His DAMN. Tour

16th October 2017 | Category: Concerts

Here comes huge news for the British fans of Kendrick Lamar’s music since he hasn’t toured in the UK since 2013.

Kendrick Lamar has finally announced his UK and Europe dates for his DAMN. Tour. After lighting up stages on North American run of his tour since July 12 in Glendale, Arizona to September 2 in Miami, Florida, he decided to keep his DAMN. Tour on the road.  You can purchase the tickets here.

Just last week, this American rapper and songwriter, announced on his Instagram account, that he will be hitting the road again in 2018, together with James Blake as an opening act. European leg will kick off on February 7 2018, in Dublin and continue in Manchester, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen and more before it ends in Berlin on March 6 2018. This leg will have 15 dates in total. The tour is produced by Live Nation and is in support of Lamar’s fourth studio album DAMN.

In the last two years, Lamar released two albums and won seven Grammys. His latest album was released in April this year and his singles “The Heart Part 4” and “Humble” have instantly become a success. Rihanna, U2 and Zacari have guest appearances on the album that quickly went platinum. It marked his third number one album on the Billboard 200 chart. The Rolling Stone magazine described the album as a combination of “the old school and the next-level”.

Lamar’s greatest influences are Eminem, Jay-Z, Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dog but he definitely has his own style and brings something fresh to the rap music. His albums are concept albums and he is a master of story-telling.  Each of his albums incorporates a strong message and The New York Times has labeled him a technical rapper and his music interior and complex. In addition to his concert tour, he also promoted his album at festivals Coachella, Quebec City Summer Festival and Rolling Loud this summer.

Tickets for Kendrick Lamar’s European tour can be bought here.
