Kings of Leon US Summer Tour
The Followill brothers along with their cousin make up the rock quartet group known as the Kings of Leon. This awesome group recently announced their 32-date tour of the United States, which will span four months with only a short period of time for rest.
Kings of Leon have a four date opening tour scheduled to give their fans a hint at what they can expect during the summer tour. The short tour begins at Borgata Events Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 5 and the last performance ending at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee on June 11.
After this, the group will take a break, resume the tour at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California on July 9, and finish the concert at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia on August 7.
The Kings of Leon will take another short break and start up again on September 3 in Noblesville, Indiana at the Verizon Wireless Music Center with the last concert date on September 23 in Dallas, Texas at Superpages.com Center.
Some outlets will offer tickets for the Kings of Leon tour beginning on March 19 with more outlets offering tickets starting on March 20.
Kings of Leon were on tour nationally and internationally the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009. Nathan Followill stated during an interview with Rolling Stone, “We are stoked to get back on the road,” and went on to say, “We’ve had a little break and are starting to get that itch. It will be cool to see if we can sneak in some new shit to see if the kids dig it. Late April the next musical adventure begins.”
The group has not released a new album since 2008, but the fans are still singing the songs from the album “Only by the Night” which reached #4 on the Top 10 Billboard 200.
