Kiss Ready to Rock and Roll All Nite with Great White Sharks

8th October 2019 | Category: Concerts

Well, they are not exactly doing it all night, more like four songs or more, but we are sure the sharks will love all of them.

During an impressive career spanning nearly 50 years, the legendary glam rock band Kiss have performed at almost every place on Earth, and now they are taking it to a next level – playing under the sea.

However, they won’t be going under water themselves, but a few die-hard fans will. These 8 lucky fans will be lowered down beneath the water in a glass container from one boat, while the band will stay above, on the other one. So they will be getting two amazing experiences at the same time, listening to their favorite band playing live and also seeing great white sharks up close.

When Kiss begins playing, the sound will be transmitted through underwater speakers all the way down to submerged fans and sharks who decide to show up for the concert, too.

This once-in-a-lifetime event will take place on November 18, 2019, in the Indian Ocean off Port Lincoln, South Australia, and in one of the biggest feeding grounds for great whites. Proceeds will go to World Animal Protection.

Singer and guitarist Paul Stanley told The Associated Press: “I was a little taken aback by it, but they explained that sharks are attracted to low frequencies and so they’re attracted to rock ‘n’ roll,”
“Since we’re going to be in Australia, it gives a whole new meaning to doing a concert down under.”

“I’m not sure how much of us the sharks can take,” Stanley said. “I’m hoping they know ‘Rock And Roll All Nite.’”

Kiss will be performing throughout Australia in November and you can get your tickets to any of their concerts ‘Down Under’ right on this link.
