Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour returning to North America
Lady Gaga filled concert halls and arenas all across the United Kingdom and Ireland all winter long, now she has expanded her Monster Ball Tour with plans to include North American for a full-length arena run.
There are 31 dates scheduled throughout North America starting with Bell Centre in Montreal, QC on June 28 and ending at RBC Center in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 19.
The itinerary for the Monster Ball Tour will encompass close to three months with gigs including a variety of locations such as Madison Square Garden in New York, NY on July 6; Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on August 11; and Verizon Center in Washington, DC on September 7.
Along with the above dates, Lady Gaga will also take the Monster Ball Tour to other locations in Canada beside Montreal, QC, which includes Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario on July 11; General Motors Place in Vancouver, BC on August 23; and Rexall Place in Edmonton, AB on August 26.
The tickets will go on sale to the public on March 19 with other information regarding more dates and location to be announced.
At this time, Lady Gaga is taking the UK and Ireland by storm with all tour dates being sold out. Heading off to Japan and Australia, the tour will travel through the rest of March and April and then off to mainland Europe before gracing the UK one more time for a second run.
The Monster Ball Tour started in late 2009 hitting large theaters and a few smaller arenas across North America. The sold out gigs overseas led to some changes in the tour. Lady Gaga explained, “It’s still called Monster Ball, but it’s more of a musical and less of a concert,” and went on to say, “It has a New York theme, it’s a story, and the story is that me and my friends are in New York and we’re going to the Monster Ball, and we get lost.”
