Lynyrd Skynryd Gods & Guns Tour

This summer, Lynyrd Skynryd fans can expect the trend to stay the same as the southern rock band has chosen Bret Michaels to be infused as their contemporary hard rock partner this year. Not only will fans enjoy Lynyrd Skynryd and Bret Michaels, but also one more southern rock band will hit the stage – .38 Special will be the opening act.

Tickets are on sale with the first concert slated for June 10 in West Palm Beach, Florida at the Cruzan Amphitheatre. In only four short weeks, Lynyrd Skynryd will be hitting seventeen venues with the last one being in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania at the Niagara Pavilion.

Other confirmed venues with Bret Michaels and .38 Special includes Raleigh, North Carolina on June 18 at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion; Tinley Park, Illinois on June 25 at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre; Mansfield, Massachusetts on July 1 at Comcast Center; Spring, Texas on June 13 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion; and Bristow, Virginia on July 9 at the Jiffy Lube Live.

Lynyrd Skynryd is touring to promote the release of their Gods & Guns in September of 2009. The concerts will of course bring us a few of their classic hits as well. Michaels will also bring to the stage songs from the past as well as new tracks. Michaels stated he has plans to play “all the Poison greatest hits, plus all the new solo hits including ‘Nothing to Lose’, songs from ‘Rock of Love,’ ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ and the new solo CD “Custom Built”.

With Lynyrd Skynrd, Bret Michaels, and .38 Special what else can rock fans want? This is the best of southern rock and contemporary hard rock rolled into one amazing tour. Other venues and dates also have tickets available for this rockin’ Gods & Guns Tour.
