The continuation of the tour is planned for summer when Macy will kick off cities across the North America throughout August and September. Then she will head to Europe in October and November. Macy hopes the fans will enjoy her new album. She strongly believes that her music has a huge impact on people and that they feel better and see better and maybe understand their relationships better. In her opinion, artists have a huge responsibility because people look up to them and listen to what they have to say, they relate to you so you have to be careful what you want to say, an influence you want to bring upon them. Your voice can change things massively and she hopes her new songs reach a lot of people and change their lives and make them happy. Keeping that in mind, she is on fire, writing new music so we can really count on her to fulfill her promise. We can’t wait to hear the new stuff.
Gray’s two upcoming New York shows will be held in a brand new venue, Opry City Stage, so great crowd is expected. Macy will perform some of the new songs together with her old hits and put on a great show.
Her album “Ruby” will be ready for the release in the fall and her fans will enjoy her raspy, soulful tunes. This is her tenth album and features a few guest artists. It has all sorts of fusions sonically and a lot of live instruments with a lot of pop and R&B mix. It is grimy, gritty and dirty at the same time.
Macy record sales worldwide exceed 25 million in 2016 with her last album “Stripped”. It had a bit of Bob Marley and The Wailers feel to it since she revamped their “Redemption Song”. Fans can’t wait to see what she brought in the mix this time.
