Midtown Festival Announce Spectacular Lineup
Midtown has announced the lineup for this year’s edition of Midtown Festival and all we can say it is pretty spectacular.
Fans would have the opportunity to listen to their favourite artists rocking out Atlanta’s Piedmont Park this fall. Tickets for the festival can be found here.
Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Imagine Dragons and Fall Out Boy will headline the festival so brush up on their most famous singles and get ready to sing-along. American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer will definitely add some value to the festival considering the fact his 2018 album Damn became the first non-classical and non-jazz album to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music.
Thirty Seconds To Mars are currently kicking off their summer tour but will make a stop in Georgia to take part in this festival. First Aid Kit is reemerging after putting out a new album for the first time in four years in January. Some of the other big names that will make an appearance include Foster the People, Portugal, The Man, Gucci Mane, Khalid and Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Smaller names making an appearance include Maggie Rogers who recently released a new single, Yuno, who just released their debut album after signing to Sub Pop, and Two Feet, a solo project by New York musician Bill Dress.
“Music Midtown is one of Atlanta’s greatest traditions and Georgia’s largest music festival. This year’s lineup and experience represents our city,” Live Nation Atlanta President Peter Conlon said in a news release. “We started this festival 25 years ago. It was the first of its kind, and it has been exciting to watch it grow with Atlanta.”
The Revivalists, Kacey Musgraves, Sylvan Esso, Børns, Billie Eilish,Bazzi, Awolnation, Chromeo, Butch Walker,K.Flay, Arizona, Twin Shadow, Robert DeLong, lovelytheband, Saint Jhn, Black Pistol Fire, Sir, The Aces, Mattiel, Arthur Buck and Berklee College of Music will also perform this year and try to repeat the 2017 success when Bruno Mars, Future, Blink-182, DuaLipa, Wiz Kalifa and Mumford & Sons blew our minds with their fantastic performances and attracted more than 70,000 visitors.
