Neil Diamond – A Blast From the Past
Remember songs like Holly Holy and Solitary Man?
I don’t think there is anyone, young or old who doesn’t know Neil Diamond’s music. It’s been sung by such greats as Johnny Cash, Barbara Streisand, The Monkees, as well as Diamond himself with his trademark husky voice.
While Neil Diamond has been with us for a couple decades, that doesn’t mean his music is stale.
In fact, quite the opposite is true. Some of the songs he offers you in concert are older ones, things that we’ve known and loved for years, while the newer tunes will have you impressed as well, particularly when sung by the author of the music, whose voice still dominates the industry.
The man and his music, if anything at all, have improved with the years.
Add to that the fact that all monies from merchandise that is purchased at the concerts is being donated to the hurricane relief efforts for Texas, and you’ve got more than a few reasons to see Neil Diamond in concert.
Neil Diamond will be performing in Tulsa on October 21, and from there, moving to Tampa Florida on the 24th. The tour continues Orlando, Green Bay, Milwaukee, northward to several cities in Canada.
If you’re in the mood for some Neil Diamond music, check out the latest tour, and don’t forget to do your Christmas shopping as well as support hurricane relief at the same time.
