Who ever said chivalry was dead, well this is just not the truth when it comes down to The Plain White T’s. Who else would ever write a song for a very special girl and travels around the world singing it with the hopes that it will win her back? Okay, Okay a lot of singers do this, but hold steady it is still a great point to bring up.
This band first became famous back in the year 1997, right before the turn of the new millennium. It was young love is what kindled their career into a raging fire as well as the chorus line to “Hey There Delilah” was ultimately stuck in the heads as well as the hearts of many young teenage girls across the nation. They first became award winners during the Teen Choice Awards as well as the MTVU Woodie Awards. After this they branched off from the platinum success that they had found and produced other very romantic songs such as “1, 2, 3, 4,” and “Rhythm of Love.” These became to be the most serenaded love songs, if you were a teenager in love at the time. If you were not a teenager serenading your love, it is pretty much equivalent to John Cusack holding his boom box up and blearing Peter Gabriel right outside of your bedroom window. If you do not get the reference… well sorry to say but you are a lost cause.
