R&B Singer The Weeknd Announces 28 Date Autumn Tour
R&B singer The Weeknd has announced his tour for later this year, a tour that starts and ends in his home country of Canada and a tour that is jam packed full with 28 different concert dates to choose from. The tour starts in British Columbia on Friday 6th September with a concert at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, followed by another concert at the same venue on Saturday 7th September. September will be a busy month as a further 13 concerts are scheduled to take place in just 21 days, with the fist of those scheduled for the state of Washington on Tuesday 10th September at the Paramount Theater in Seattle. Four concerts will follow in the state of California with the first two taking place in Berkeley and Santa Barbara followed by another two in Los Angeles, and there will then be concerts in Colorado and Georgia, and a further three in Florida and three in Texas.
The Weeknd will also be releasing his latest album later this year, an album that is called “Kiss Land” though as yet no date has been actually released for it, though with a 28 date tour you can guarantee it will be released either during or just after the tour finishes. The October schedule is just as busy as there are another 13 concerts due to take place in the first three weeks of the month, with the first of those due to take place in North Carolina on Tuesday 1st October at the Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, and the next day there is another concert in North Carolina as well with this concert taking place at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham. The Weeknd will then visit New Jersey, Washington DC, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois and Michigan for eight more concerts before setting off back to Canada for the final three gigs of the tour. All three remaining concerts will be held in Ontario at the Massey Hall in Toronto with the first taking place on Thursday 17th October, the second on Saturday 19th and the final one on Sunday 20th October.
