Steve Miller Band Announce Two Tours For 2014
Steve Miller Band are an American rock band formed in the 1960’s, but as 2014 draws ever closer they are still as popular as ever, and next year they will be embarking on two tours. At the beginning of April 2014 the band will be touring Canada for a series of five concerts in the space of just six days, the first of which has been scheduled for Friday 4th April at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. On Saturday 5th April a concert will take place at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, then two days later on Monday 7th April a concert is scheduled for Edmonton at the Rexall Place. The fourth Canadian concert takes place on Tuesday 8th April at the Crystal Centre in Grand Prairie, then the final one takes place at the CN Centre in Prince George, British Columbia on Wednesday 9th April.
From May Steve Miller Band will then join forces with Journey for the “On Tour Together For The First Time Ever Tour”, a tour that is jam packed full of dates through May, June and July. The first tour date has been scheduled for Thursday 15th May in California, with the concert taking place at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista. May will see the two groups visit numerous other towns and cities across America with concerts due to take place in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Albuquerque, San Antonio, Spring, Dallas, Birmingham and Alabama.
June gets underway with a concert in the state of Virginia at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, with a further 13 concerts being scheduled for the month of June, including a performance at the Susquehanna Bank Center in New Jersey on Sunday 22nd June. The Susquehanna Bank Center first opened in 1995 and ever since it has staged music events throughout the year, with the likes of Jesse J, Robin Thicke, Imagine Dragons and Demi Lovato all due to appear at the venue in the lead up to the performance by Steve Miller Band and Journey.
July is just as busy as the previous two months as there are another 13 concerts due to take place, the first of which is due to take place on Tuesday 8th July at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Michigan, Denver and Utah are notable stops along the way before the month comes to an end with a run of four concerts in California.
