The Eagles Add European Dates to Long Goodbye Tour
The Eagles are having a very Long Goodbye. After half a century of music and changing the industry with their sound, The Eagles have decided to stop making music. Aiming to honor their long and fruitful career, the band embarked on an international tour called The Long Goodbye Final Tour that has been already underway in the USA. However, the tour was recently expanded with several new dates added – this time in Europe.
The Long Goodbye – More About the Tour
Here is a fraction of the official statement from the band upon the announcement of the new tour.
“The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year odyssey, performing for people all over the globe; keeping the music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheavals and setbacks of many kinds. Credit and thanks go to our longtime management team, our dedicated road crew, and our exceptional backup musicians for providing skilled and steadfast support, throughout these many years. We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful. Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.”
And indeed, “The Long Goodbye” will honor and celebrate the musical behemoth by giving the fans a chance to say goodbye by listening to The Eagles’ most popular hits.
