The Rolling Stones Announce More ’50 and Counting’ Tour Dates

Attention all you rock ‘n’ roll fans out there, The Rolling Stones are coming to a town near you. Yes that’s right legendary roll ‘n’ roll band The Rolling Stones are going on tour and there are coming to a town near you soon. The first concert is just a month away and tickets have only just gone on sale, but already The Rolling Stones concert tickets are selling faster than a racing car in the Indy 500.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood may be advancing in years, but they are still as popular as ever. At the moment the band have announced eight tour dates for America and Canada, with at least one more to come in Los Angeles.

The first date of the ’50 and Counting’ tour is scheduled for Sunday 5th May in Oakland, California where the audacious quartet will be performing at The Oracle Arena. On Wednesday 8th May they will be playing in San Jose, California at The HP Pavilion. A trip to Nevada comes next with a performance on Saturday 11th May at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The band will then return to California on Wednesday 15th May for a performance in Anaheim, a performance that will be staged at The Honda Center. Ten days later on Saturday 25th May a concert in Canada will take place at The Air Canada Centre in Ontario, Toronto. A return to America on Tuesday 28th May will see Mick and co. playing The United Center in Chicago, Illinois with two more dates in Boston and Philadelphia to follow on June 12th and June 18th respectively.

The Stones will then head across The Atlantic to perform at The Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 29th June, and they they will be playing at Hyde Park, London for the first time in 44 years when they perform their last scheduled gig on Saturday 6th July.

Last year The Rolling Stones celebrated their 50th birthday with a series of gigs in London and America, something that Mick Jagger and the band found to be “pretty amazing.” Jagger said, “‘50 And Counting’ has been pretty amazing so far. We did a few shows in London and New York last year and had such a good time that we thought let’s do some more. It’s a good show. Lots of the classic stuff everyone wants to hear with a few little gems tucked in here and there.”

This spring and early summer is the time to dig out your dancing shoes and get your glad rags on, and buy your discounted Rolling Stones tickets. You had better be quick though because if last year is anything to go by The Rolling Stones concert tickets will not be available for long.
