Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers North American Tour and New Album

The news just hit that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will be launching a huge Tour of North America along with releasing their newest studio album – Mojo, which is their first in about eight years this spring.

The North American Tour will begin on May 6 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The concert will be held at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek. From there the group will be traveling throughout the summer to cities in the United States and Canada. Not only will fans be excited to see Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers but they also have some other huge names as guests such as Joe Cocker, ZZ Top, My Morning Jacket, Drive By Truckers, and Crosby, Stills, and Nash.

The cities that will be host to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers is extensive with some cities hosting more than one concert. From Raleigh, North Carolina the group will head to Charlotte and then off to Florida. With so many concerts all across the United States and Canada, these guys are truly going to be flying high.

Joe Cocker will be the guest performing for the month of May and the majority of June. Drive-By Truckers begins on June 22 in St. Paul Minnesota and is the guest again on June 23 in Omaha, Nebraska. On June 25, ZZ Top starts things off and stays with Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers during the Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before the Drive-By Truckers begin as the guests again.

In Vancouver BC, Calgary AB, Edmonton AB, and Winnipeg MB, Joe Cocker is the guest performer and Crosby, Stills, and Nash will be performing in Toronto.
