The blast from your past, that musical legendary group the one that was known as “That Little ol’ Band from Texas” ZZ Top is now performing at the Palms Casino and Hotel for a one night only experience. Joining this amazing band in order to make your night more dynamic as well as magical is Wayne Shepherd.
One of the most evident denizens of that Southern Rock era, ZZ Top will be putting their all in beards and all. This amazing trio that consist of guitarist Billy Gibbons, Bassist Dusty Hill as well as Drummer Frank Beard was actually formed from two rival bands in Houston Texas in the year of 1969.
It was the hit “La Grange” that gained this amazing band nationwide attention from their 3rd album, which remains to be a common riff piece. This Southern Rock Band continued to gain success right through the 70s which in fact culminated in the “Worldwide Texas Tour” which took a whole year and a half to complete.
After this band took a 3 year break, ZZ Top took off running with a brand new label as well as the smash album “Eliminator” which contained hits such as “Sharp Dressed Man”, “Gimme All Your Lovin,” as well as that famous song “Legs.”
In the year of 1999, this awesome band celebrated its THIRTY- year anniversary as well as the original 3 member staff with a new album titled “XXX.” In the year of 2004 this Southern Rock Band was finally inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.
