You may also know him as many others do as “Tater Salad” a name that has been given to him due to his never ending love for potato salad when he was (believe it or not) serving time within the United States Navy.
Being an obviously hilarious man he began his very long career as a comedian with a show at an open- mic night club, Ron tells us that he wrote 4 minutes of jokes than everything just went from there.

Ron finally hit a huge break when he joined Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, and of course Bill Engvall center stage in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour within the years of 2000 and 2003 which was seen in over 90 cities all across the USA.
