Singer-songwriter Niall Horan has announced the extension of his ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ Tour.

There is now another series of North American tour dates taking place this summer. The 18-city outing kicks off July 9th in Charlotte. Besides the tour, Horan also released his second album ‘Heartbreak Weather’ on March 13th, 2020 via Capitol Records. The new album follows up 2017’s ‘Flicker’ which reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.

“I had so much fun and a lot of hard moments writing this album,” the singer said in a recent tweet. He continued: “I’m very proud of the record as a body of work. NOW IT’S YOURS. Dance, laugh, cry, take the lyrics in, do whatever makes you feel it.”

One Direction went on hiatus in 2016. Since then, Horan has performed as a solo artist. Some of his hits are “Slow Hands” and “This Town”.

Bob Dylan Reveals Dates For His ‘Never Ending Tour’

12th March 2020 | Category: Concerts

Legendary musician Bob Dylan has announced that he will embark on an extensive tour across North America, this fall.

Dylan’s new 25-date trek kicks off on June 4th at the Les Schwab Amphitheatre in Bend, Oregon. From there, it’s heading to San Diego, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, and Nashville, among other US cities. This leg of the tour wraps up on July 12th in Bethel Woods, New York. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is known as the original location of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair.

He will have two opening acts – Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats as well as the Hot Club of Cowtown. This is not the first time that the latter will hit the road with the 78-year-old musician. The Western swing trio Hot Club of Cowtown acted as a support for Dylan and Willie Nelson’s 2004 joint tour.

Before returning to the U.S, Dylan is also scheduled to play a slew of concerts across Japan in April. However, it’s still left for him to confirm these touring plans due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

While he has been on the road for a long time, the singer-songwriter hasn’t released new material since 2012’s album “Tempest”. The album features a tribute to John Lennon, “Roll On John”. And the title track is a 14-minute song about the sinking of the Titanic.

Later in 2020, Dylan is set to debut a whiskey distillery in Nashville. Heaven’s Door Spirits will transform the 160-year-old Elm Street Church into the Heaven’s Door Distillery and Center for the Arts. Its opening will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the release of Dylan’s “Nashville Skyline” album.

In the meantime, tickets for his upcoming shows will go on sale on sale tomorrow, Friday, March 13th. If you don’t want to miss the latest leg of the long-running Never Ending Tour, get your tickets here.

Genesis Are Reuniting with Last Domino Tour

5th March 2020 | Category: Concerts

The prog rock legendary band Genesis have announced they are returning to the stage together one more time. Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford, will be going on a tour taking place later in 2020.

The tour will include a series of dates across the UK.

The outing begins in Dublin on November 16th. There’ll also be stops in London, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Belfast, Manchester, Glasgow and Newcastle.

Before the official announcement was made, the band had posted a hint on their Instagram page, reading: “And then there were three”.

In 2007, the band celebrated the 40th anniversary of their formation at Charterhouse School in Surrey. That year, with the Turn It On Again tour, Phil Collins bid the band’s final farewell.

However, the band frontman is on board to hit the stage again.

Collins’ 18-year-old son Nicholas will be joining the trio on the drums. His longstanding associate Daryl Stuermer will be on guitar and bass.

Over the years Collins’ health has deteriorated due to nerve damage he sustained in his back while performing. This means he is unable to play the drums to his full ability. It’s also the main reason why his son is accompanying the band on their reunion tour.

Collins commented on his son’s involvement.

“For me it wasn’t a deal breaker, but… it was a problem we had to overcome, with me not playing,” he said. Despite this, he promised he’ll do his best to still play “some bits on the tour.”

Rutherford said: “It feels great, it feels the right time, we’re looking forward to doing it. A lot of our contemporaries have been playing a lot – we’ve done two shows in the UK in the last 28 years.”

Tickets will be on sale on Friday 6th, and you will be able to get them here.

Pet Shop Boys and New Order Join Forces for ‘The Unity Tour’

The legendary British acts Pet Shop Boys and New Order will be going on a co-headlining tour across North America. This will happen later in 2020, starting on September 5th, to be more exact.

The first stop on the Unity Tour is Toronto. From there, the bands will be making additional stops throughout October in Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Columbia, Chicago, and more. The tour will reach its conclusion in Los Angeles.

Prior to the tour, the synth-pop duo will be launching their Dreamworld Tour across the UK. This is their first-ever greatest hits tour.

Pet Shop Boys will be supporting their brand new album Hotspot released on January 24th, 2020. The new album reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart. It features a guest appearance by Years & Years on the track ‘Dreamland’.

Back in 2016, the band embarked on their “Super Tour” which visited North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Since forming in 1981, members Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have sold over 50 million records worldwide.

Meanwhile, New Order just wrapped a residency at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami.  They’ve performed a stripped-down version of their special live show “So It Goes.”

Before going the fall tour with Pet Shop Boys, New Order will play a string of shows in Japan and Australia.

New Order frontman Bernard Sumner and Pet Shop Boys have previously worked together on three tracks for Sumner’s super-group Electronic. He formed it in 1988 with ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.
