Janet Jackson Announces ‘Black Diamond’ World Tour

The legendary songstress Janet Jackson has said that she will be going on an extensive 2020 world tour in support of her upcoming album titled ‘Black Diamond’.

Miss Jackson shared the announcement by tweeting:

“Hey U Guys! I’ve heard all your wishes and I’m working on my new album and going on a new World Tour this summer titled “Black Diamond.” I’m so excited to share this new era with you.”

Janet will be performing songs from 12 multi-platinum albums including a special performance of Rhythm Nation 1814, which recently marked its 30th Anniversary.

The North American leg of the tour kicks off on June 24th in Miami and continues through August hitting major U.S. places like Atlanta, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles. Canadian shows will be in Toronto and Vancouver.

The new excursion follows up 2017’s State of the World Tour which consisted of 76 shows across North America.

Jackson will be releasing her 12th studio album ‘Black Diamond’ sometime in 2020 via her own Rhythm Nation label and BMG. Her previous 2015 album ‘Unbreakable’ reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and became her 7th to top the chart.

During her long career, the multi-platinum singer has won 5 Grammy Awards, along with multiple American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards. Jackson was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. She’s ranked as one of the best-selling artists in the history of contemporary music, selling over 160 million records.

John Legend to Give us ‘Bigger Love’ this Summer

Grammy-winning singer John Legend has announced a grand 27-city tour across North America taking place later in 2020.

The tour called Bigger Love Tour will start on August 12th in Grand Prairie and carry on through September visiting U.S. places like Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Canadian shows are reserved for Toronto and Vancouver. The new outing comes after 2018’s A Legendary Christmas Tour supporting his first holiday album of the same name.

The last time the singer went on a tour was in 2017, when he embarked on his Darkness and Light Tour, with support from Gallant. Back in 2014, his All Of Me Tour was joined by a guitarist, a string quartet and vocalists in an intimate acoustic setting.

Legend’s newest album is A Legendary Christmas, which was released on October 26th, 2018. The new album landed No. 22 spot on the Billboard 200 and featured guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Esperanza Spalding and Kelly Clarkson.

Legend started off 2020 with great success. He released a new song “Conversations In The Dark,” which hit No. 1 on the overall iTunes songs chart upon its release. It featured on NBC’s Award-winning television show “This Is Us,” which Legend performed on the show. Legend recently won his 11th Grammy Award for “Higher” with DJ Khaled and Nipsey Hussle.

Currently, Legend is a mentor on his third season of NBC’s “The Voice.” He won his first season as a coach with his mentee Maelyn Jarmon.

My Chemical Romance Adds New Dates after Selling Out Tour in 6 Hours

It was last year that My Chemical Romance overjoyed their fans when they announced a reunion show, which would be their first in 7 years.

The gig, which took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on December 20th, broke records for the venue as it grossed nearly $1.5 million.

The emo legends have announced North American tour dates on January 29th, after they’ve posted a 13-minute short film called “A Summoning”, in which a protagonist attempts a ritual to summon the band back together.

The tour kicks off in September 2020 with a show in Detroit Michigan.

From there, MCR will head to St Paul, then Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Newark and more. In addition, they’ll headline three fall music festivals in Chicago’s Riot Fest, Atlanta’s Music Midtown, and Sacramento’s Aftershock.

Their arena tour throughout North America sold out in six hours with 228,600 tickets sold, so the band added several new dates to the tour, including one in New Jersey and many in California.

Prior to the North American leg, MCR will play shows in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Russia.

The band revived their blog, with a message from the frontman Gerard Way.

“Gearing up to head to Japan – it has always been a magical place for me,” Way wrote. “Every time I am there, I learn something about the culture and something about myself. I come back home feeling fresh, with a new perspective. The crowds are as spectacular as the beauty of the country.”

My Chemical Romance released their debut album in 2002, and soon after found commercial success with their later albums. Some of their hit songs are “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “Welcome to The Black Parade” and “Helena.”

Justin Bieber Reveals New Album ‘Changes’ and Tour Dates

Having recently promised to come out with new music, Justin Bieber delivered!

He has just announced the release date of his new album, as well as the ticket sale for the upcoming tour dates.

The announcement followed a new single, “Get Me,” featuring Kehlani. The singer-songwriter Kehlani will open for Bieber on the following tour, along with Jaden Smith who will also provide supplementary support.

Bieber’s new album Changes, which is his fifth studio album and also the first one in five years, will be out on Valentine’s Day this year.

He starts the upcoming five-month tour through North America in Seattle, Washington, on May 14th and finishes in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on September 26th. The lengthy tour goes will include the cities such as Sacramento, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Detroit, to mention a few. The singer will also perform in his home country Canada visiting the following cities: Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto, and Montreal.

The 25-year-old pop superstar also produced his new YouTube Original documentary called “Justin Bieber: Seasons.” In this 10-part series, he talks about the process of making his new album and opens up about his personal life.

In 2015, the singer went on a successful Purpose tour, which he had to cancel in 2017 due to the reasons relating to his mental health.  Scooter Braun, his long-time manager, who discovered him on YouTube when he was very young, appears in the documentary.  He talked about “the day” Bieber said he didn’t want to keep going.

“It was a very tough one. He just wanted to get away and feel normal and needed to get a break from it all.”

But now, Bieber is ready to get back and tell his story, along with new music.

Nickelback Will Be Going on a Tour for All the Right Reasons

Nickelback will be heading out on a big tour across North America this summer in celebration of the 15th anniversary of their best-selling album All the Right Reasons.

“15 years ago we released All The Right Reasons. It’s about time we celebrate. All The Right Reasons Tour. Playing the album from cover to cover and more,” the band tweeted.

The 46-city outing kicks off on June 19th in Raleigh and runs into October visiting stops like Charlotte, Cincinnati, Toronto, Saratoga, Wantagh, Morrison, Dallas, Phoenix and Irvine. For the entirety of the tour special guests will be Stone Temple Pilots, along with Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown and Switchfoot, who will be joining the tour on select dates.

Nickelback rose to fame with their single “How You Remind Me” in 2001. This Canadian band was then ranked in 2009 by Billboard as the most successful rock group of that decade; “How You Remind Me” was listed as the best-selling rock song and the fourth best-selling song of the decade overall.

All the Right Reasons album was released in 2005 and was ultimately certified Diamond by the RIAA. The award-winning album includes the singles ‘Animals’, ‘Far Away’, ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Photograph’.

“Photograph. That song… is the epitome of nostalgia. Can’t wait to hear you all singing along,” Nickelback also wrote on twitter.

Their latest album Feed The Machine was released in 2017 and reached #5 on the Billboard 200. The same year, the band went on their Feed The Machine Tour across North America along with special guests Daughtry, Shaman’s Harvest and Cheap Trick.
