More recently Stewart released an orchestral album “You’re in My Heart” with some of his older songs, as well as the new song “Stop Loving Her Today”. The album features new versions of the hit songs “Maggie May”, and “It Takes Two” featuring Robbie Williams.

The songs are accompanied by new arrangements by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

“I told them I’d like to hear a couple of takes and see what they can do with these songs,” Stewart explained. “I was pleasantly surprised with what they came back with.”

This marks five years since Bieber last released an album. The last one was his fourth studio album Purpose, which three number one singles: “What Do You Mean?”, “Sorry”, and “Love Yourself”.

The tour will start in Seattle, Washington, on May 14th and wrap up in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on September 26th.

Primal Fear Plan Their 2020 European Tour

24th December 2019 | Category: Concerts

Primal Fear has just announced the 2020 European tour dates.

Next year this German power metal band will be going on a tour featuring 23 dates. The trek is scheduled to begin on September 12th and end on October 10th 2020.

It will visit cities such as Stuttgart, Barcelona, Paris, London, Berlin and many more before wrapping up in Prague. Freedom Call, fellow power metal band from Germany will serve as a special guest.

Before heading out on European tour, Primal Fear will be back in the USA and Canada, joining Symphony X on their 25th-anniversary tour.

Primal Fear consists of Ralf Scheepers on vocals, Magnus Karlsson, Alex Beyrodt and Tom Naumann on guitars, Michael Ehré on drums and Mat Sinner on bass & vocals. Scheepers and Sinner formed the band after Scheepers didn’t get hired as Rob Halford’s replacement in Judas Priest.

Their latest album, which is also their twelfth album is called Apocalypse and was released in 2018.

Primal Fear’s frontman Scheepers, in an interview with Decibel magazine, explained what the main inspiration for the latest album was:

“It’s not the time to write 11 love songs. Even during the recording, the news on TV was not so promising that anything will change. We’re living on a wonderful planet with a lot of beautiful places. I’m not sure if the rough language of our politicians, threads, terror, stupidity against proven facts etc. will make us more proud or happy [and it also will not for] the next generation.”

ZZ Top 50th Anniversary Tour Continues and Will Include Canada

19th December 2019 | Category: Concerts

Blues-rock veterans ZZ Top have extended their 50th-anniversary tour into 2020. They will be bringing A Celebration Tour to Canada in the spring of 2020.

The Canadian leg of their tour kicks off on April 29, 2020, at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria. The 11-date trek continues through May hitting Abbotsford, Penticton, Kamloops, Cranbrook, Lethbridge, Enoch, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Thunder Bay and ends with St. John’s.

Special guests Cheap Trick will be joining the tour on select dates.

Before the band heads out on the tour, they will be hosting a 5-night Las Vegas residency at The Venetian Theatre. The shows will be held on March 20, 21, 25, 27 and 28.

In other news, earlier this month, ZZ Top also announced that their documentary Z Top: That Little Ol’ Band From Texas will be released via Eagle Rock Entertainment on 28 February 2020. The documentary explores the band’s long history with interviews with the band members, conversations with high-profile fans, performances, as well as never-before-seen archival footage.

It originally premiered at a sold-out showing at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood earlier this year and was also a success running for 10 weeks in theatres across the country.

Frank Beard, Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill formed the band in 1969.

Since then the trio has released 4 Gold-certified albums, 3 Platinum-certified albums and 2 multi-Platinum-certified albums. ZZ Top’s latest studio album “La Futura” was released on September 10th, 2012 and charted at #6 on the Billboard 200.

ZZ Top is considered one of the longest music acts in rock history. Gibbons told the National Podcast of Texas that the secret to their longevity lies in everyone respecting each other’s personal space and that the three men simply love playing together.

“Someone asked recently, ‘How did you three guys manage to stay together for longer than most marriages?’ Two words come to mind: separate buses. It’s made it all go all right. It’s a good team.”

The Lumineers Confirm Support Acts for Upcoming Tour

17th December 2019 | Category: Concerts

Earlier this year, The Lumineers announced they will be going on a world tour in 2020.

They have recently revealed that Mt. Joy, Shakey Graves, CAAMP, J.S. Ondara, and Jade Bird will be joining them on select dates for the US part of their 2020 III: The World Tour.

The US leg of the tour will start in January next year and will last until June. Some of the cities it will hit include Detroit, Brooklyn, Charlottesville, Indianapolis, Nashville, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and many more.

The Lumineers rose to fame in 2012 with the release of the hit single “Ho Hey”. This folk-rock band also band became known for their other international hits such as “Stubborn Love”, “Ophelia” and “Cleopatra” and performing energetic live shows. The Grammy-nominated musicians had all of their studio albums have reached the top two of the Billboard 200 Charts.

Their upcoming tour will be promoting their latest album named III. The album is titled III not just because it’s The Lumineers’ third full-length album, but more importantly because the songs are presented in three chapters, each focusing on one of three main characters struggling with addiction. The tracks will also be turned into a music video series directed by Kevin Phillips.

Wesley Schultz, the founding member and lead vocalist of The Lumineers, said about the latest album:

“My whole ambition was to make music that I want to listen to, and that others want to listen to, for decades…I think making album two and being humbled by that seeing a delayed reaction; it’s been so positive but it took a while – like pushing a rock up a hill and you get to the top and then it goes downhill.

It feels like the shows go more downhill in a good way, it feels like momentum because of the time that’s passed since album two came out, so it gives you patience with this third album. I think there is more faith with people sticking with us and not just dropping us or having such a short attention span.”

If you are a fan of this band, you will be able to enjoy their future shows by purchasing the tickets here.
