BLI Summer Jam is Back this June

11th April 2019 | Category: Concerts

BLI Summer Jam is about to make history once again with one of the hottest lineups ever including Ellie Goulding, the Jonas brothers and Bebe Rexha.

Buy your tickets in time and get ready for 14 June at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater. Summer is coming and festivals keep adding some amazing names on lineup lists.

Coachella was the last festival that blew our minds with the staggering lineup including Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, Ariana Grande, Pusha-T, Blood Orange, Diplo, Weezer, Kacey Musgraves, Rosalía, Yves Tumor, SOPHIE, Mac DeMarco and more and now BLI Summer Jam amazed us with some fresh names. Luckily, Coachella is kicking off on 12 April so we have enough time to recharge our batteries until 14 June. The BLI Summer Jam is returning to Northwell Health At Jones Beach Theater in New York this summer, and we’ll enjoy The Jonas Brothers, Ellie Goulding, BebeRexha, Why Don’t We, Mark Ronson, Ally Brooke, Bazzi, Fletcher, Bryce Vine and Jake Miller perform on the stage at Long Island’s hottest summer concert.

Jonas Brothers made a splashy return with their single “Sucker” and will headline the festival. The single is their first new music since going on hiatus back in 2009 so the fans went into a frenzy when the news broke out. British DJ and producer, Mark Ronson is joining the party. He first became famous in the US after his work with Amy Winehouse on her 2006 album Back to Black.

We know him best for his collaborations with Bruno Mars, Hudson Mohawke and Miley Cyrus. Ellie Goulding has won BRIT Award in her home country and her debut album Lights went straight to No. 1 on Billboard top 100. She has opened for Katy Perry, U2 and Dawe Mathews before she started filling arenas on her on. She is at the top of her game and her second album Halcyon is simply spectacular. Bebe Rexha has conquered all the charts in the past 12 months with her huge hits “I’m a Mess”, “Last Hurray” and “Say My Name”. Jake Miller will add a touch of rap sound to the festival. Also set for BLI Summer Jam are up-and-comers Fletcher, Bazzi and Jake Miller, along with Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke gone solo.

Shawn Mendes, Backstreet Boys, Alessia Cara and 5 Seconds of Summer took the stage last year and their performances were epic. We can’t wait for this year’s concert.

Childish Gambino to Premiere ‘Guava Island’ at Coachella

10th April 2019 | Category: Concerts

Those who will not be able to attend Coachella this year will be thrilled to hear that YouTube plans to live-stream the music festival for its ninth consecutive year. Those who are planning to go to the event, however, can purchase the Coachella tickets right here.

Three separate live channels will broadcast performances of Ariana Grande, Black Pink, Childish Gambino and many others. The first stream will start on April 12th at 4 p.m. PT until April 14th, and for the first time, YouTube will cover the second weekend, from April 19th to April 21st.

Apart from performing, Donald Glover, better known as Childish Gambino will premiere his new film “Guava Island”. Most of the information is unknown about the film itself, but here is some information that can possibly shed a light on what the audience can expect.

The trailer for the “Guava Island” was shown on November 24th 2018 at Childish Gambino’s PHAROS Festival in New Zealand. It was filmed in Cuba and features Donald Glover playing his guitar and pondering his surroundings, saying: “We live in paradise, but none of us actually have the time or the means to live here.”

We will also see Rihanna in the film, as she plays Glover’s love interest.

Other actors who are related to this project are Black Panther’s Letitia Wright and Game of Thrones’ Nonso Anozie. The film is directed by Hiro Murai who already worked with Glover on his FX show “Atlanta” and his music videos “This is America” and “Sober”.

YouTube will stream “Guava Island” live on Saturday night, on April 13th at Coachella.

The premiere date is one day after Gambino is scheduled to perform. According to a press release, this will be a one-time premiere and it is not known whether the film will be available via the Coachella YouTube after the live stream.

Celine Dion Announces First North American Tour in Over a Decade

4th April 2019 | Category: Concerts

Celine Dion is soon to end her Las Vegas residency but she has no intentions of slowing things down. She has just announced new album and her first North American tour in over a decade.

Visit our page here and buy your tickets on time.

Three years after losing husband RéneAngélil to cancer, and after 16 years of residency at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace, Celine Dion is making changes. She said in an interview that the time had come for a change and she sure meant it. The Grammy-winning singer said she felt motivated recently to get back on the road and create music for the first time since the death of her husband and manager in 2016. She shared with the fans that she now feels more centred, balanced and spiritually connected.

“I was supposed to be at Caesars for a few months and sixteen years later, I’m on the road and album coming out,” she said. “I cannot feel stronger than I feel here. I’m finding passion, finding my team, in control, in charge, feeling strong and healthy. I take care of myself. I’m happy.”

The French-Canadian songstress, who just turned 51, announced that she is embarking on a world tour this fall and will drop a new album featuring the single, “Courage.” Her Courage World Tour is kicking off on 18 September in Quebec City, Canada and will hit over 50 North American cities including Miami, Los Angeles, Montreal, Chicago, Brooklyn and many more. She hasn’t been on tour ever since her 2009 Taking Chances World Tour.

Her upcoming album is scheduled for the release this November and while we anticipate some new hits we can enjoy her iconic hits like “My Heart Will Go On”, “Ashes” and “I’m Alive”.

The album is also called Courage and it will be her first English-language release in six years. We can’t wait for the new album to come out especially since Celine said she has 48 songs and producers force her to pick just twelve. She has explored new genres but promised no heavy metal. She has worked with Sia so the album is sure to be an instant smash hit with such amazing artists teaming up.

Tickets for all her residency and tour shows can be found here.

Timing is Perfect to Go See The Big Bang Theory Musical Parody

1st April 2019 | Category: Theater

A beloved TV show The Big Bang Theory has made history by becoming the longest-running multi-camera American sitcom with its 276th episode in its final season.

The nerdy comedy is edging closer to its ending, overrunning Cheers in its twelfth season.

This CBS show has gone on to break many records and crush the expectations, becoming one of the most popular TV series today. As the ending nears, it might be the perfect time to turn your attention to The Big Bang Theory Parody – A Pop-Rock Musical Parody running through April at the Anne L. Bernstein Theater at the Theater Center in New York.

Tickets and dates for the show can be found here.

For the last 12 years, a nerdy group of scientists has been looking for love – and answers to space-age theory – but now find their lives turned upside down as their favourite Star Trek character comes to life.

The Big Bang Theory Pop-Rock Parody is a hilarious journey through all things the original show stands for, wrapped in a pop-rock theme. It highlights the gang’s best, the worst and the wildest.

With John McGowan as Sheldon, Baily McCall as Penny, Kevin Stevens as Leonard and Nrandon Delsid as Rajesh, the show brings all characters onto the stage in a script that contains a rather sexual innuendo.

Book, music and lyrics have all been provided by Karlan Judd, while the show is directed by Tristan J. Shuler.

The plot of the show is rather straightforward. Star Trek’s Q demands all the characters show growth and maturity to prove humanity can improve and grow. That is exactly where fun starts as characters’ foibles are exposed.

Contrary to the reputation of the original show, the parody has been welcomed with mixed critics.

Sheldon does not interact with other characters as much as the spectators could hope for. Raj is depicted as gay, Leonard is battling with self-worth issues while the girl characters are not developed to the same extent as the male ones and will interfere with men and their fun. The parody aspect makes it all very tolerable and amusing.

The show is described as “a hilarious romp through past, present and future” whereas the very fact the original comedy is heading towards its ending makes it well worth a shot with tickets available here.
