They are kicking off their tour with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and AFI as a special guest on 8 August at BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey. Their 16-city trek will hit Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Houston and more before it concludes on 31 August at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.

The tour was the band’s first in nearly 20 years to feature Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha, alongside Jeff Schroeder, bassist Jack Bates and keyboardist Katie Cole.

Smashing Pumpkins released Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. in November 2018 and features hits like “Solara”, “Silvery Sometimes” and “Knights of Malta”.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds is the solo project from former Oasis guitarist and singer Noel Gallagher. His third album under the name Who Built the Moon? was released in 2017 and was certified gold in less than two weeks of its release and marked his tenth consecutive chart-topping studio album in the UK, something that no other artist has ever achieved.

Meanwhile, AFI’s latest release came in late 2018 with the arrival of the EP The Missing Man, which featured the singles “Get Dark” and “Trash Bat.”

Tickets are already up for grabs so hurry up and choose the city closest to you. Don’t miss the performance of one of the few contemporary rock stars left.

Bruno Mars and Cardi B Set One Night Record at Atlanta Arena

1st March 2019 | Category: Concerts

Bruno Mars and Cardi B were among the artists who headlined the Atlanta concerts over the Super Bowl weekend and besides singing their guts out, they broke some records along the way.

The Super Bowl is one of the only times where non-sports fans will willingly sit down to watch a game of football. While the stakes are incredibly high during the actual game, people around the world tune in to watch the halftime show. Some of the world’s most famous artists have performed during the intermission and it has become a kind of tradition for many to follow the event because of the music rather than the game.  This years’ lineup was in a few words absolutely amazing. Maroon 5 performed at the half-time while Travis Scott, Migos, Lil Baby, Aerosmith, Ludacris, Post Malone, Cardi B and Bruno Mars brought their magic to Atlanta’s State Farm Arena for the weekend.

On 31 January, Atlanta rapper Ludacris grossed $1.3 million with 11,149 tickets sold. On 1 February, Aerosmith and Post Malone grossed even more with 12,894 tickets sold. With $3.6 million grossed, they hit the Billboard’s Boxscore chart. But the top of the cake was on 2 February when Bruno Mars and Cardi B grossed $6.5 million for 14,152 sold tickets and reached No.2 on the Boxscore chart. This amazing evening also broke the record at the venue, being the highest single-night gross for the 20-year-old arena. The only amount close to this one was in 2014 when Garth Brooks grossed $6.63 million on seven shows.

Cardi B was originally supposed to perform at a half-time but she refused the engagement because the NFL didn’t bring Colin Kaepernick back. He was let go because of his comments against police brutality, racial injustice and systematic oppression by kneeling during the national anthem. Many artists refused this honour of performing at Super Bowl because of the kneeling controversy including Rihanna and Pink. Maroon 5 took the honours and made a brilliant performance at Super Bowl halftime show. We can’t wait to see who will be next in line to sing on this magnificent stage.

Bruno Mars has finished his extensive worldwide tour and is currently doing residency shows in Las Vegas. Buy your tickets here.
