Tickets for all performances can be found here.

This concert residency held at Walter Kerr Theatre in New York City officially opened on 3 October 2017. The run was expected to close at the end of the year but additional dates have been added until 30 June 2018. The show features Bruce, playing piano and guitar and performing solo his music but also reading excerpts from his autobiography. Springsteen explained why he created such an original show.

“I wanted to do some shows that were as personal and as intimate as possible. I chose Broadway for this project because it has the beautiful old theaters which seemed like the right setting for what I have in mind.”

He wanted to produce high value for the audience.

“My show is just me, the guitar, the piano and the words and music. Some of the show is spoken, some of it is sung. It loosely follows the arc of my life and my work. All of it together is in pursuit of my constant goal to provide an entertaining evening” adds Springsteen.

This American musician has sold more than 140 million records worldwide and more than 64 million record in the US making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. He won 20 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and one Academy Award. He is being inducted into Songwriters HALL OF Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well as awarded with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and Kennedy Center Honors so he definitely has something to say.

John Legend as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar

30th March 2018 | Category: Theater

For all of John Legend fans, we have great news!

Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert is approaching fast and you will finally get to see it. This TV adaptation will be aired on NBC on Easter Sunday and the Broadway rock opera is currently performing in Chicago.  No, it’s now a joke for April’s Fool Day so hurry up and buy your tickets right now.

John Legend announced the show on his Facebook profile and gave fans a sneak peek into his role and shared his enthusiasm about the show. This was a challenge for John vocally and musically and playing such an iconic character such Jesus was an honor.

He stars alongside Alice Cooper, Brandon Victor Dixon and Sara Bareilles, three incredible actors and vocalists and he strongly believes they will nail it on Sunday. The crew’s preparations are nearing its climactic finish in a basement of the Church of St Paul the Apostle in Manhattan.

The ten-time Grammy winner is playing Jesus arriving at the Last Supper, where he passes his disciples an empty bottle of wine and a roll of paper towels. A large part of the plot is based on Judas, deeply dissatisfied with the direction Jesus steers his disciples. Don’t miss this awesome TV adaptation with the most powerful song Legend has to perform “Gethsemane”. The John himself described it as his formidable Mount Everest. The song is one of the most iconic songs from the original opera.

The rock opera debuted on Broadway in 1970 and is mostly sung-through. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s rock opera about the last days of the Messiah’s life was nominated for five Tony awards. “I Don’t Know How to Love Him”, Mary Magdalene’s torch song reached Top 40.

It depicts political and interpersonal struggles between Jesus and Judas that are not present in the Bible.

Contemporary attitudes and sensibilities pervade the lyrics and ironic allusions to modern life are scattered throughout the opera and is definitely an interesting show to see and this TV show will also contribute to the opera’s popularity. John Legend may even come to Broadway as a performer. Weber and Rice are also working on the TV adaptation as executive producers.

Tickets for all performances can be found here.

Steven Tyler Announces Solo Tour Dates

28th March 2018 | Category: Concerts

Steven Tyler has just announced solo tour dates for United States, Canada and Europe this summer together with Nashville’s Loving Mary Band as his backing group. He will be promoting his solo material along with Aerosmith favorites starting 12 June in Lewiston and wrapping up on 7 August in London.

Tickets for this long-anticipated tour can be bought here.

Along with the most popular hits from his 50-year-long career with Aerosmith, Tyler will perform a song from his debut solo LP “We’re All Somebody from Somewhere” released in 2016 after Tyler inked a deal with Big Machine Label Group. The album topped the country charts and landed in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. The run will include stops in Vienna, Madrid, Trieste, Rome and more, and also include fundraiser gigs in New York and Ohio and festival dates in Spain and Italy. This is the first Tyler’s overseas appearance since he and Aerosmith cancelled the final dates of 2017 Aero-Vederci Baby Tour due to health issues.

When 68-year-old Tyler talked about his switch in genre he explained the band gave him permission and freedom to try out something new. He simply had to follow his inspiration or he’ll end up using drugs again. He had to explore a different music terrain and it gives him a lot of joy. He explained it’s a completely different thing to perform with a band where you are able to tell them to stop playing and just sing a cappella. Tyler is just doing what Tyler does, and that usually involves a few steps into the unknown.

“No great story started with salad,” he joked earlier in an interview “You’ve gotta take risks.” And this one was obviously worth it.

The rock music duo The Sisterhood Band, comprised of Rod Stewart’s daughter Ruby Stewart and Alyssa Bonagura, daughter of Kathie Baillie and Michael Bonagura, will join the famous singer on a few dates. Both singers have been performing since they were kids and are very successful. They formed a band in 2015 and have been opening act on Rod Stewart’s UK tour. They describe their music as “an organic blend of the open melodies of classic West Coast folk and the magnetic swagger of timeless rock.” It’s no wonder Tyler chose them as an opening act.

Steven Tyler will bring you country as he sees it and rock your world with Nashville’s Loving Mary Band.

Don’t waste any time and buy your tickets right away.

Lollapalooza Unveils 2018 Lineup

22nd March 2018 | Category: Concerts

Summer will be here before we know it and that means we have to prepare for days on the beach, having fun all day and summer music festivals. Coachella, Bonnaroo and Governors Ball have already amazed us with their lineups but Lollapalooza made us wait a little bit longer and enhance our excitement to the max.

Lollapalooza has finally announced its 2018 schedule and let me tell you guys, it was worth waiting. The main headliners Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Jack White, ODESZA, Vampire Weekend and Travis Scott are followed by Khalid, Post Malone, Dua Lipa, Tyler, the Creator, Zedd, Daniel Caesar, Lykke Li, Brockhampton and many more.

Don’t miss this amazing lineup and buy your tickets right away.

Lollapalooza will take place over a 4-day weekend from 2 to 5 August in Chicago’s Grant Park. The festival was conceived and created in 1991 by a singer Perry Farrell who will appear as a special performer this year. His project Kind Heaven will feature an all-star cast of musicians to premier music from Farrell’s upcoming solo album. The festival ran annually until 1997 and was revived in 2003. It features popular alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop and electronic music bands and artists, dance and comedy performers.

The Weekend reportedly dropped out of Lollapalooza last year because he wasn’t happy with his billing on the poster but this year he will make up for it. English rockers Arctic Monkeys have a long history with the Lollapalooza since their first appearance at the fest in 2009. With a new album on their way, they will use the Chicago performance to promote it. Thanks to the “Rocktar” and collaboration with 21 Savage, Post Malone is in the upper reaches of not only Lollapalooza but also of Coachella and Governors Ball. Triple Grammy winner for Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year, Bruno Mars is a cherry on the top of the cake.

Last year’s lineup featured The Killers, Muse and Blink-182. The 2016 was the festivals’ 25th anniversary and the lineup included Lana Del Ray, Radiohead, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and J. Cole.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased here.
