Blink-182 Announced Las Vegas Residency

20th March 2018 | Category: Concerts

Great news for all alt-rock fans since Blink-182 has announced plans to launch the “Kings of the Weekend” residency at the Pearl Concert Theater of the Palms Casino Resort.

Don’t miss to see this famous band if you’re going to Vegas.

Blink-182 seems to be following the tradition of Bruno Mars, Britney Spears, Pitbull, Cher and Lady Gaga who had their residencies in Vegas that proved quite successful. The performances will began 26 May and run on selected weekends until 17 November. Blink-182’s first-ever residency at the same time represents the resort’s first major entertainment collaboration as part of its recently announced $620 million property-wide overhaul.

“Kings of the Weekend” will bring to life their biggest hits, inappropriate tales about love, death, drugs and divorce. Mark Hoppus, vocals and bass, Travis Barker, drums and Matt Skiba, guitar, are thrilled to set off on this journey. When Palms asked them to do the residency they said absolutely and even joked about marrying someone on stage because possibilities in Vegas are limitless.

“Now, we just have to cast our showgirls, create our set list – a true throwback of Vegas classics with Sinatra, Liberace. Maybe we can even marry someone onstage… “

The veteran pop-funk outfit will perform their hit songs from across the band’s 25-year career as well as songs from their 2016 album “California”. Their latest release became their first album in 15 years that reached No 1 on the Billboard 200 and the second in their career.

The lead single “Bored to Death” became the group’s number one single in 12 years. “California” earned them the first Grammy nomination for the Best Rock Album.

The band is considered a key group in the development of pop punk. They combine pop music melodies with fast-paced punk rock. They have been described as alternative pop and mix of arena rock, hip-hop and indie rock. The trio sold over 13 million albums in the US and over 50 million all over the world and will most definitely put on quite a show.

Tickets are yet to go on sale in a few days and until then you can watch your favourite band at Bunbury Music Festival.

Beyonce and Jay Z Tour Information Leaked

12th March 2018 | Category: Concerts

The announcement of the Jay Z and Beyonce’s tour called On The Run 2, leaked last week on Ticketmaster and Facebook but were deleted immediately.

It is not confirmed whether this was a marketing trick or a contract obligation but make sure you leave some money aside since sources confirm that the tour is kicking off this summer for sure. For now, you can enjoy the famous couple perform at Coachela this April, and tickets for both weekends can be found here.

Speculations about On the Run 2 had been rampant since 22 February when the news about their stadium tour leaked on Ticketmaster.

The news was removed, the concert promoter did not comment but all fans are gushing about it. The couple last toured in 2014 for On the Run tour and this will be its sequel to that 19 show run. According to sources, they will tour at a number of North American stadiums starting July but both performers and Live Nation keep quiet. But the damage is already done. The tour is being publicized and fans went crazy on social media.

We believe the main reason for this silence is the upcoming Coachella festival from 13 to 22 April where Beyonce will perform. The organizer Goldenvoice has demanded the headline artists to hold off with the tour announcements until after the festival in the past, so we’ll have to be patient. In the meantime, this is a great marketing stunt for the April event since it created a huge buzz.

The lineup for this year’s 19th installment is amazing. Canadian R&B singer Weeknd, pop diva Beyonce and Detriot rapper Eminem will headline the show and Tyler, Cardi B, Haim, David Byrne, Jamiroquai, Chic, Perfect Circle and many more will follow.

Don’t miss this awesome festival and purchase your tickets here.

Jay Z and Beyonce’s 2014 On the Run tour grossed a whopping $95.9 million which is a $5 million per show. If Beyoce announces the tour after the festival, she will have 98 days to promote and sell tickets for the first show in Philadelphia on 30 June. Although this is much shorter period of time than ususal, we believe this will be a piece of cake for the Queen B.

|Editor’s Note: UPDATE – The power couple has since confirmed the speculations for their On the Run II Tour on 13 March. The concert series will kick off on 6 June in Cardiff and visit 15 cities across Europe and 21 cities in North America until it ends with a concert in Vancouver on 2 October.|

Evanescence Kicks Off Synthesis Tour with Lindsey Stirling This Summer

9th March 2018 | Category: Concerts

Great news guys!

Our favorite Goth-rock band Evanescence and acclaimed Billboard electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling have announced their co-headlining 2018 summer tour across North America. Prepare yourself for an amazing experience since all performances will be performed with live orchestra.

Don’t waste any time and buy your tickets immediately.

The Synthesis tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off 6 July in Kansas City and will make stops in 31 North American cities including Dallas, Detroit, Toronto, St. Louis, Tampa, New Orleans and many more before the tour ends on 8 September in Ridgefield, Washington. The two-time Grammy Award-winning band and Billboard Award-winning violinist will most definitely be the tour of the summer.

Both artists’ shows will be accompanied by a full orchestra, highlighting both acts in a best possible way, their musicality and incredible performance abilities. These orchestrated performances will also perfectly accent the amphitheater venues across the North America. This joint tour is expected to blow fans away.

Two acts have recently collaborated on the song from the Evanescence 2017 comeback album Synthesis, called “Hi-Lo”, which features a virtuosic violin solo by Stirling. Evanescence’s latest and fourth album endured a stylistic change and is all about orchestra and electronic. The band took selected songs from their previous albums and stripped down guitars and drums and rebuilt them into classical arrangement reminiscent of a soundtrack. The album also contains two new original songs.

The former YouTube sensation, 31-year-old violinist Lindsey is touring in support of her fourth album from 2017 Warmer in the Winter. She is super excited and she shares her enthusiasm with her fans on social media.

“In case you missed it, my dreams are coming true this summer and evanescence and I are going on tour together!”

Stirling also promised her fans to bring an epic and unforgettable performance in each city.

Tickets for all performances can be found here.

Once On This Island is written by the Tony Award-winning team, Lynn Ahrens, who wrote book and lyrics, and Stephen Flaherty, who wrote the music. It is based on the 1985 novel by Rosa Guy, “My Love, My Love” and the play features new orchestrations by original orchestrator Michael Starobin who is joined by AnnMarie Milazzo.

This new production is directed by Tony nominee Michael Arden and choreographed by the critically-acclaimed Camille A. Brown. The cast is led by Lea Salonga, Alex Newell, Tamyra Gray and Norm Lewis. The production opened in December 2017 to rave views and was named Broadway.com’s Best Show of 2017.

The play is set in the French Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. The one-act play includes the elements of the Romeo and Juliet and also of Little Mermaid, a fairy tale of Hand Christian Andersen. A peasant girl uses the power of love to bring people of different social classes together.

Post Malone and 21 Savage Join Forces in North American Tour

2nd March 2018 | Category: Concerts

“Rockstar” collaborators Post Malone and 21 Savage are embarking on an extensive North American tour this spring and turn their rockstar fantasies into reality.

The North American tour will kick off in Portland, Oregon in late April and run through June until they wrap up in Francisco, California. The duo will be joined by SOB X RBE, Bay Area group, and Paris for several shows, so don’t miss this fun gang and buy your tickets here.

This extensive 28-city tour, produced by Live Nation, will hit all major cities across North America including Vancouver, Toronto, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Phoenix and many more. The Dallas-bred rapper announced his new album Beerbongs & Bentleys but the release date is still uncertain. Fans hope the album will be out in time for the tour and he promised it would be better than his debut album Stoney. Instead of hip hop and rap, he explained he is going in more of rock-pop-country direction this time.

This American rapper, songwriter, producer and guitarist first gained recognition in 2015 after the release of his debut single “White Iversion” and a debut album Stoney in 2016. He collaborated with some huge names like 50 Cent, Kanye West and Young Thug and was an opening act for Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour. Post has fresh music on the way as well since his new song titled “Psycho” is out these days. Produced by Louis Bell and Post Malone, the song is featuring Ty Dolla Sign, and is the next anthem to be unveiled from.

Fans are excited to see Post Malone and 21 Savage live performance of “Rockstar”, a track the duo first collaborated on, that immediately took off and gained platinum status. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and held the spot for eight consecutive weeks. Rolling Stones called Malone “one of the most popular musicians in the country”. Don’t miss the opportunity to watch these talented rappers make some noise.

Tickets for all performances can be bought here.
