After almost a five-year-break, Timberlake released his fifth, long-awaited album “The Man of the Woods” on 2 February, 2018. The album was named after his son Silas, whose name means “from the forest”.

Timberlake explained that something like this was never done before and that he will bring the outside in.  His promotional video for the tour shows the inspiration for how it ended up sounding. This album is personal, it portrays where he is coming from and is inspired by his family more than any album so far.  He released his first single “Filthy” in January and the song became an instant hit.  Timbaland and Pharrell Williams produced this long-anticipated album and ,when it comes to the forthcoming tour, judging by the 450,000 tickets already sold out, the tour may extend even to 2019.

Justin hadn’t toured since his 2012 and 2013 double album “The 20/20 Experience” and the fans have simply gone mad when he released the album and announced the tour within few days.

He will be kicking road to promote his new electro-funk album and the first in a row is Toronto on 12 March. The North American leg at first consisted of only ten shows, but due to the overwhelming demand Justin announced 31 more dates across the US and Canada. Fans in Chicago, New York, Loa Angles, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Houston, Dallas and many more will have the chance to enjoy this superstar’s spectacular performance.

After his spectacular performance in Super Bowl halftime, when he performed e medley of his most famous songs and then featured a duet with a video projection of late Prince, he announced European and UK run of the tour. European and the UK dates will kick off on 22 June and make 16 stops including London, Birmingham, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin and more.

The Man of the Woods Tour

The world-wide smash hit musical, School of Rock, has welcomed seven new cast members to the class this January. This rock Musical, based on the 2003 movie by the same name is a must-see, so don’t waste your time and purchase your tickets right now.

Rocking their way onto the Broadway stage are young talented stars Montgomery Lamb as Katie, Jim Kaplan as Lawrence, Sarah Walsh as Marcy, Iggy Rosado as Mason, Madison Elizabeth Lagares as Shonelle and Katie Greendorfer as Madison. The new cast members were welcomed on 30 January since the longtime stars graduated from Horace Green Prep on 29 January.

The musical features music by Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Julian Fellowes. Mike White wrote the screenplay, and after stage concerts held at the Gramercy Theatre in Manhattan promoting the play in June 2015, the musical debuted at the Winter Garden Theatre in December 2015.

The movie earned $131 million in box office worldwide with Dewey Finn as the central character. In the musical, focus is more on the students. The musical debuted on Broadway rather than in London’s West End due to more relaxed child labor laws in the United States.

The musical follows a failed wannabe rock star who pretends to be a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school.

After recognizing the musical talent in his students, he forms a band of fifth-graders in an attempt to win the upcoming Battle of the Bands contest. On his journey of turning straight A-list students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping rock band, he falls in love with the headmistress and tries to help her discover the wild child within herself. School of Rock Musical

Eminem fans will have plenty of opportunities to see their favorite rapper live this year since Slim Shady singer has announced some huge dates. He will first land a few headlining festival gigs and then go for a run through Europe with new dates just being announced. Tickets for his performances are available here.

This year, Eminem is performing at the biggest festivals. He is co-headlining Coachella in April, Boston Calling in May and then Governor’s Ball and Bonnaroo in June. This will be Eminem’s Coachella debut alongside The Weeknd and Beyonce, who postponed her performance last year due to her pregnancy.

At the end of June, he will fly overseas to headline the Obos Oslo Sommertime Festival in Norway to launch his European leg. After six performances in Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Switzerland, he will wrap up his tour with a two-night residency at the Twickenham Stadium in London.

Eminem last toured in the UK in 2014 so fans are eager to see him again. He became the first rapper ever to sell out Wembley Stadium and there’s no doubt the same will happen with the dates on 14 and 15 July. This stadium hosted various NFL games and has capacity of 82,000.

This tour is in support of his ninth studio album Revival, which was long-anticipated and came out in December 2017 after a four-year-break. The album was preceded with two singles, “Untouchable” and “Walk on Water” featuring Beyonce. Revival consists of 19 tracks and includes appearances by Ed Sheeran, Pink, Alicia Keys, Kehlani, Skylar Grey and Phresher. Although this Trump-criticizing album received a lot of negative critics, it debuted at number one in the UK and became the Christmas number one album for 2017.

With nine number one albums on the Billboard 200 and 155 million records sold globally, Eminem is the best-selling artist of 2000s in the United States. In 2002 he acted in the hip hop movie “8 Mile” which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song “Lose Yourself”, becoming the first rap artist ever to win this prestigious award. Now this singer, song writer, record producer and artist is back, big style.

The pop icon, Billy Joel has announced his 100th-lifetime show at Madison Square Garden on July 18, 2018. The July show is part of his residency at The World’s Most Famous Arena. Don’t miss a chance to witness his unprecedented timelessness and purchase your tickets right now.

This famous artist was the first person ever to become a “music franchise” at the stadium. He began his residency in 2014 and had performed a show every month since then. His 100^th career show will also be his 54^th consecutive show since the beginning of his stay, marking a record-setting music franchise at one of New York’s most famous venues. He became an MSG franchise alongside the Knicks, the Liberty and the Rangers.

This music legend, born in the Bronx and raised in Long Island, sold out 205,843 tickets grossing more than $24 million in 2017.

In addition to his Madison Square Garden residency, he also had time to squeeze in other tour dates and fans will have the opportunity to listen to him in Ireland, Germany and the UK between his June and July residency shows.

Billy Joel is one of the biggest concert draws in the world and continues the achievement with an impressive run of sold-out consecutive stadium shows and concert arenas. The Philadelphia Phillies signed Joel to a one-year contract just last week. They wanted to celebrate the fifth year in a row that he has played on their stadium. He will perform on 27 July at Citizens Bank Park.

“To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time the Phillies have signed an active Rock and Roll Hall of Famer,” joked Phillies General Manager Matt Klentak at a Friday news conference.

“But after four straight sellouts, we thought, ‘There’s no one more deserving.’”

Billy Joel ranks as one of the most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in the history having sold 150 million records over the past 25 years and scoring 33 consecutive Top 40 hits and receiving many music awards. The Library of Congress selected him in 2016 for preservation in the National Recording Registry for its “cultural, historic and artistic significance”.

Two great actors from the big screen return to Broadway in spring for the revival of Eugene O’Neil classic work “The Iceman Cometh”. Five-time Tony winner George C. Wolfe will direct the production scheduled to begin previews on 22 March and open on 26 April at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Denzel Washington, the two-time Oscar winner, will play the lead role of Theodore Hickman known as Hickey, a charming travelling salesman. This poetic drama will unfold in a Manhattan saloon when Hickey, himself deeply conflicted, passionately encourages fellow alcoholics to abandon their pipe dreams and take hold of harsh reality.

Denzel Washington appeared on Broadway several times since his debut in “Checkmates” in 1988. He starred in “Fences” in 2010, winning a Tony Award and in “A Raisin in the Sun” in 2014.

The two-time Tony nominee and Emmy winner Tammy Blanchard has been recently casted and picked for the role of Cora. She earned her Tony nominations for her roles as Louise in the 2003 revival of “Gypsy” and Hedy La Rue in 2011 production of “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying”. Her most successful roles on the screen are as Florinda in “Into the Woods” and as Judy in “Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows”

“The Iceman Cometh” is described as a “masterwork” and “the greatest American playwright” by critics and we can freely say that Eugene O’Neill’s tragic vision remains undiminished by time. The latest revival of the play was in 1999 when Kevin Spacey played Hickey and we simply can’t wait to see Denzel in this high demanding role. The play will be produced by Scott Rudin who produced “Fences” and “Shuffle Along”.

Since George C. Wolfe staged last season’s successes “Shuffle Along”, “Or The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921” and “All that Followed”, and now directs the revival with such a great cast, this 14-week run is expected to hit the roof both with numbers in box office and critics.
