Rod Stewart and Cindy Lauper Join Forces Once Again

Rod Stewart decided once again to use the recipe for success and to repeat teaming up with Cindy Lauper for another go.

Their joint summer tour 2017 was fabulous and a hit among both fans and critics. The Entertainment Weekly described the tour as a “nostalgia blast” and a second tour of dates comes as no surprise. Last week, they have announced North American tour for a total of 22 dates. Don’t miss these two iconic performers and purchase your tickets right away. The two-time Rock Hall singer Rod Stewart and his fellow classic rocker Cyndi Lauper are hitting the road for 22 performances, starting on 25 June at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and then hitting other major cities like, New York, Phoenix, Toronto, Nashville, Indianapolis, Denver, Kansas City and more. The final show is scheduled for 1 September in White River Amphitheater in Seattle.

The British singer and songwriter is one of the best-selling music artists of all time with more than 100 million sold record worldwide.  He had six consecutive number one albums and 16 top ten singles in the US. In 2016 he was knighted in the Birthday Honors for services to music and charity and became Sir Rod Stewart. This Brit and Grammy Award-winner was inducted two times into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and 2012 as a member of Faces.

Cindy Lauper, an American singer, songwriter, actress and a LGBT rights activist, has a 30-year-span career. She established herself as a pop culture icon selling over 50 million records and 20 million singles worldwide. In addition to her Grammy, Tony and Emmy awards and being an inductee in both Songwriters Hall of Fame and Hollywood Walk of Fame, she is featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum’s Women Who Rock exhibit.

The two megastars provided timeless performances last summer and brought sheer joy to the audience. They tend to repeat the success so don’t miss your chance to enjoy their signature voices.

Bottle Rock Festival Announces Bruno Mars, Muse and the Killers

BattleRock Napa Valley festival 2018 has finally announced its sixth annual lineup which includes headline artists Bruno Mars, Muse and the Killers.

This three-day festival, presented by JaM Cellars, will take place at the Napa Valley Expo from May 25 till May 27, 2018. This music, food and drink festival has a lot of surprises so don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of the spectacle.

The festival in northern California first took place in 2013 and featured 3 stages with 60 bands. In 2014, Dave Graham, Justin Dragoo and Jason Scoggins bought the festival and made it into the best California festival that sells out annually. Every year, the organizers try to outdo the previous one.

In the first five years, the festival attracted young, talented artists and in 2016 the festival really stepped up its way with Stevie Wonder, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Florence and the Machine performing. In 2017, the list of great stars continued with Maroon 5, Tom Petty, the Heartbreakers and Foo Fighters performing. Delivering at such high level, really set expectations high for this year’s lineup but the fans are delighted with the list of performers with Bruno Mars at the top. This is his first presence on a festival in over a year and therefore his headlining the festival is a major coup. His music speaks to so many different types of people and demographics and therefore is a perfect choice.

Among the 80 artists performing at this year’s festival are Snoop Dog, the Chainsmokers, Billy Idol, Halsey, Wind & Fire, Incubus, The Head and the Heat, Thievery Corporation, Phantogram, The Revivalists, Bleachers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, E-40, Oh Wonder, Natalia Lafourcade, Manchester Orchestra, Lake Street Dive and many more.  This high-end festival will also feature a DJ set with Mike D from the Beastie Boys and the best wine and cuisine in California. Williams-Sonoma culinary stage will include some world-renowned chefs and live cooking demonstrations. Some great fun is expecting you.

Lana Del Rey LA to the Moon Tour Kicks Off

Lana Del Rey has just started her LA to the Moon tour of North America on 5 January.

She has confirmed a series of live dates in the US and Canada throughout January and February of 2018. Don’t miss the opportunity to see Lana on her first major tour and purchase your tickets here.

This American singer, songwriter, record producer and model kicked off her tour on 5 January in Minneapolis before heading to all major cities in North America including Chicago, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, Detroit, Washington and more. Special guests Jhene Aiko and Kali Uchi will support Lana on all dates.  This leg of the tour will wrap up in Honolulu on 28 February before heading to South America for three Lollapalooza’s Latin American Festivals. A few weeks back, Del Rey confirmed that she will be heading Australia in the spring. Venues and dates are yet to be announced but she will perform in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sidney in late March and early April. Other legs are yet to be announced.

This tour LA to the Moon is in support of her latest album “Lust For Life”. The singer’s fifth album was released on 21 July 2017 and includes guests like A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, Sean Lennon, Playboi Carti and Stevie Nicks.  Her previous albums had a “Californian” sound but with this one, she wanted to create a “New York” sound that will be a little harder, faster and less dreamy. Apparently, she succeeded since the singles “Love” and “Lust for Life” were an instant success and the album is nominated for Grammy Award in the category Best Pop Vocal Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. This is her second nomination in this category. Her Music is famous for its stylized cinematic quality, its preoccupation with themes of tragic romance, glamour and melancholia and also its references to various aspects of pop culture, especially that of the 50s and 60s.

One thing is certain, all fans will enjoy this mixture of dream pop, rock, indie music and trip-hop.

Lorde Announces the Support for her Melodrama Tour

After the huge success of the current “European Dance” portion of the tour, Lorde announced the long-expected lineup to the “North American Dance” of her Melodrama World Tour.

Khalid is currently supporting her on her European dates while George Maple opened for the Australian leg.  She hopes the fans will be satisfied with her choice of artists supporting her in the spring.

Lorde has recently announced that Run the Jewels, Mitski and Tove Styrke will join her separately on her North American leg of the tour from 1 March through 15 April. On the first seven dates, Run the Jewels and Tove Styrke will perform as support. The rest of the dates until 23 March, a still-unnamed act will take over for Run the Jewels. Final 15 dates will be played by Mitski and Run the Jewels again.

Melodrama World Tour is Lorde’s second tour in support of her latest album. With twenty dates in Europe, 13 in Oceania and 32 in North America, this extensive tour will have 65 shows in total. 2017 has been a great year for this young artist since she appeared at Coachella, Jazz Fest, Bonnaroo and Governor’s Ball and drawn massive attention.

This 20-year-old New Zealand artist released her sophomore album Melodrama in June. She worked on the album from 2013 when she stepped from the spotlight, taking a break after her breakup from a longtime boyfriend James Lowe. Melodrama was described by critics as single house party with the events and moods that entail it.

Exploring the theme of solitude and loneliness, the album received a widespread acclaim and according to many critics it is the best album of the year. At the 60th Annual Grammy Awards it received a Grammy nomination for the Album of the Year.

“Green Light” and “Perfect Places” are just some of the singles landing on charts. Lorde was recently featured alongside Khalid, Post Malone and SZA on a remix of her “Homemade Dynamite” which debuted on the Hot 100.

Shakira Postpones Her Tour Due to Vocal Cord Hemorrhage

Bad news for all Shakira fans!

They will have to wait a bit longer than initially planned for her El Dorado Tour to kick off since the doctor ordered her to rest her vocal cords. She will be back in August for the North American run.

Nevertheless, yo don’t need to wait any longer so buy your tickets right now.

Just last month, Shakira postponed her first set of tour dates in Europe and now she delayed the North American leg of her tour due to a prolonged recovery from a vocal cord injury.

In November, she had to reschedule her European leg of the tour and take a vocal rest, but now, few weeks after, her condition didn’t alleviate and she was forced to reschedule the North American leg as well. Her doctor expects a full recovery and that she will be ready to be back on the road on 5 June in Cologne, Germany. Over the June and July, she will hit major cities in Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal and Spain.

The Colombian superstar is thankful to her fans for the understanding and support they show her. She went to social media to express her gratitude for the fans’ immeasurable love through her prolonged recovery, explaining there wasn’t any other way and that her injury simply needs more time to heal.  Her voice isn’t only hers but also belongs to her fans and therefore has a purpose, a purpose she mustn’t betray but respect. She also promised to give her best every minute on stage and perform the best spectacle so far.

El Dorado World Tour is Shakira’s sixth world tour in support of her eleventh studio album.  For now, 36 dates, 15 in Europe and 19 in North America have been announced. Dates for Mexico and Latin America are soon to be announced. The 40-year-old singer will kick off her U.S. dates on 3 August in Chicago, Illinois and then perform in 18 cities all over North America, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Washington, DC, Miami, Los Angeles and many more.
