12th July 2012 | Category: Sports

Canadian Soccer fanatics will be seeing a sea of red uniforms this summer at the Rogers Centre. It has been announced that there will be an exhibition game for the Toronto FC vs Liverpool FC at the Rogers Centre on July 21st at 4 p.m. EDT. The game will be played on a natural grass surface and will be broadcasted live through Sportsnet networks across Canada.

This marks Toronto FC’s second event at the Rogers Centre, which is preceded by a sold-out game vs the LA Galaxy in March. The exhibition game will be part of the 2012 World Football Challenge. This will also be the Liverpool FC’s second time to play at the Rogers Centre after 2004 when they played against FC Porto.

Both teams will be wearing red as their primary color, which seems to be another opportunity for the Rogers Centre to be filled with red uniforms since the March 7 game versus LA Galaxy. People from the Rogers Centre are excited and pleased to host the game between the Toronto FC and one of the most storied football franchises in the English Premier League.

Liverpool FC is equally pleased to have opened their North American Tour with a friendly game in Canada. It will be another chance to give their fans a chance to watch them play live again in the Rogers Centre.

Tickets to the game have been on sale since May 4th, but everyone else can still grab tickets even days before the event. They can even get discounted Toronto FC vs Liverpool FC tickets from Ticketcenter.com and also get to pick where they want to be seated to get the best view. No soccer fan should pass up the rare chance of watching the Liverpool FC go against Toronto Football Club at the Rogers Centre.
