Fleetwood Mac the British American Rock sensation was formed in the mid sixties. They’ve experienced more than their share of rocky roads and personnel turnovers, but their success through it all is indisputable.

Touring frequently and recording together in fits and starts, who could imagine that a band from the mid sixties would survive the length of time and achieve the level of popularity that Fleetwood Mac has achieved and still be as much in demand as the band appears to be.

The band takes its name from Mick Fleetwood and the McVie’s, Christine and John, but is likely best known for the husky vocals of Stevie Nicks, who still performs with Fleetwood Mac.

Currently touring North America on their Unleashed tour, Fleetwood Mac are some of the best musicians in the world today. This tour is featuring the rich vocals of Stevie Nicks, the voice and guitar of Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie on bass and Mick Fleetwood on drums percussion, they are a blast from the past, with some older music such as the well known hits “Don’t Stop” and Big Love, as well as some new and impressive additions to their repetoire, Fleetwood Mac‘s Unleashed tour is one you don’t want to miss.

Fleetwood Mac will set out on its first tour in five years next spring. The group will kick off the “Unleashed Tour” on March 1 in Pittsburgh, PA. The tour will coincide with a new greatest hits compilation called “Unleashed” that contains previously unreleased tracks and footage.

Band member Lindsey Buckingham told Billboard Magazine earlier this year that he also expects Fleetwood Mac to return to the studio after the tour, to record a follow-up to their 2003 album “Say You Will.”
