Jimmy Buffet, born on Christmas Day in Mississippi, is known for multiple talents, not the least of which are author, songwriter, movie producer and businessman, but more than anything else, Buffet is known for his music.
With the Coral Reefer Band, Buffets songs have a wide and assorted fan base, who are called Parrotheads. His music seems to appeal to fans from all walks of life and all geopolitical backgrounds, with such songs as Come Monday and Margaritaville hitting the top of the charts.
