This amazing story is set in the legendary city during the roaring “jazz hot” 20s, Chicago tells the story of two opposing vaudevillian murderesses who are locked up in the Cook County Jail House. The nightclub star Velma who is serving time for murdering her husband as well as her sister after finding them in bed together. The driven chorus girl Roxie who has been thrown in the Cook County Jail House after bumping off her lover who in fact she had been cheating on her husband with. Not one to ultimately rest on her laurels, Velma who murdered her own husband and sister enlist the assistance of the prison matron Mama Morton as well as the slickster lawyer Billy Flynn, who ultimately turns Velma’s imprisonment into a murder of the week media fury, thus preparing the whole world for a very splashy showbiz comeback. But do not forget about Roxy the one who murdered her lover, she has some of her very own tricks up her sleeves.
